A WoW hunter's life can be rough. With a trusted beast at your side, you brave the wilds of Azeroth alone, a true adventurer, fighting enemies, an endless resupply of arrows and bullets, and even party-members daring to insinuate that you can't roll Need on everything. Through all your hardships, your pet is there by your side, a faithful companion till the end.
Just remember to have the correct type of food in your backpack, because loyalty only goes so far!

Appreciate us, or you can be thrown (by the catapult that we can make that you need us to make) over the wall to the bad guys.

Having to feed your pet was annoying sure but it did give you a feeling of a bond with your pet. Plus unlike v-pets such as tamagochi and digimon (Vital Bracelet notwithstanding, unlike the TamaSmart, you can't even feed your digimon in VB. I want to give Guilmon his Guimon Bread and Gammamon his "champion" chocobars darn it), you don't have to clean up your pet's droppings. Also remember classic hunters: If you can't find the right food in your bags, dismiss your hungry pet until you find some. Also be sure to level fishing if your pet eats fish.

I fed my boar many things, like boar ribs and boar meat and boar intestines and boar sausages. I am a responsible pet owner and always make sure my pet is always fed properly.
