Two journalists from different eras shooting guns together. It sounds crazier than it is imo. We just don't see it. Imagine all the celebs that keeanu Reeves has shot guns with. Besides Hunter just being Hunter, what made him truly extraordinary is the access he had to all kinds of high level people regardless of political affiliation. Everyone loved his intelligent irreverence and had no problem with him being around. Plus he was a maestro at using his press credentials. That and just out classing people with his bamboozling way of speech. Walked right past them, leaving them wondering what just happened? Ha ha! He’s the fucking BEST! HST!

My friend, the legendary comedy writer Greg Cohen, was responsible for this piece. I used to have his reel from Conan on VHS but sadly misplaced it. Such gems as "The Search For Grady", "The 2 Lionels", and "Chartering Freedom" (which was a recreation of the signing of the Declaration of Independence featuring Ron Jeremy and other porn stars) were on it. Incredible stuff.

We went to school together and I just have to say that he worked in all the same stuff we used to laugh about back then, into his bits!! It was hilarious. He even had actors recreate an argument between a friend of ours and his mom..and used their names! Too good! There was a great Oldie Olson bit where he went back to high school. Just brilliant.
