Nanika isn't malicious nor evil; Once someone follows their commands he/she is granted whatever wish, but depending on how big it is and if it has other intentions, causes the next person to have to pay an even bigger toll to receive whatever is desired. It's why killua was able to ask nanika to heal gon and no steep price was asked for in return: The wish was done selflessly and with no other purpose other then for gon being healed back to health. Nanika is only as evil as the person who asks them to fulfill their desires.

you know, though the splitting of Killua and Gon was emotional as all hell, I was almost... glad! Killua had come such a long way in his own journey of discovering his own self-worth but with what Gon pulled, that all almost went all down the drain. the despair he felt for letting Gon almost throw away his entire life wouldve broke him if it actually followed through. But as he once again cleaned up Gon's act, Killua finally figured out he could become his own 'light' to his sister like gon did for him. It was then Killua figured out he too had someone that needed to rely on HIM instead of it being the other way around. Because Gon screwed up badly, it finally led Killua to go and discover his own self-worth, finally bringing the cycle of 'light' that gon started all over again. God this anime and killuas character development is beautiful

I both love and hate this but Killua's story is my favorite so far. I can relate to him on so many different levels so watching him have a breakdown and blaming himself for what happened to Gon was too heartbreaking. I love this analysis, it's spot on. It gets me excited for future episodes (;w;). When Gon and Killua finally meet up, I wonder how it'll be. Will Gon acknowledge Killua's growth and development and then go on his own journey for self worth or what? I just hate how much it meddled with my feelings. Honestly this anime is true art and no one can convince me otherwise.

I’m sorry but you can’t blame Gon, you don’t know hooowwww fucking much he was destroy. Like, u must have seen his rage thinking « hoo there is a monster inside of him » NO!!! THE MONSTER WAS IN FRONT OF HIM!!! What Pitou did was things that Gon couldn’t even imagine. And u wanna stay calm with that. For a 12 years boy that spend months to train to take his revenge and to bring back his freakin loss. And then that FUCKING BITCH which can’t hold a promise, say at the last time that kite was dead and that she she can’t bring him back ant that she must kill gon. So now u are telling that Killiua separation from Gon makes u happy!!that their relationship is blocking Killua!!!!! Well don’t watch this anime, cause u are just ruining it. This type relation is the base of the anime, when, at the end, gin asked gin what he found searching around the world, he said friends. What u should remember of this show his the power of friendship, and they can both rely on them. And if you’re happy that The bond of Killiua and gon broke up you are a monster. I KNOW that gon say a mean thing to killua, but it’s hardship that make them even more friends. Killua progressed because he wanna protect gon, and only that, he became that strong because of Gon. DO U EVEN KNOW WHAT’S A FRIEND!! Killua become a light to his sister, but he was already gon’s light, guiding him on the right path. And gon was Killua’s, always bringing him up. And they were both their own line, learning from the world and the life. I won’t let u blame Gon ever again (cause I felt like you were), like I won’t let anyone blame Killua.I know this is just fiction, but the values that are transmitted, are true and powerful. And the manner that we are reacting to it, reflects what kind of humans we are. Sorry, I get a bit angry cause of that fucking bastard monster thing that Pitou is.

This was the first anime that made me smile and cry after a long time, after I watched this anime, I was no longer afraid to show my smile to my family again, I was really embarrassed of if, but now I actually have no choice but to smile because thinking of the wholesome and sad scenes in this anime, I couldn't, and I still can't help but smile realizing how lucky I am to not be in a situation the characters in this anime are experiencing, it made me so happy and sad at the same time, actually it wasn't the first anime that made me sad, however it's the first one that actually made me shed real tears after a year.. beautiful story line and and characters, highly recommended. And it's only because Gon doesn't understand or care about the people Kill has murdered that he becomes his friend at all. That's the irony! That Killua is even in a position to discover any kind of morality is because Gon is stupid and made a mistake in befriending him. Remember, Gon does not know that Killua just needs a friend, or that he has any sense of morality. The way Killua was raised could have just as easily made him a totally insane psychopath who uses Gon as a cover and kills him when he's done. That it didn't turn out that way was pure blind luck. Killua was saved because Gon is an immature fool, and now Killua has become the well adjusted one due to this influence while Gon has just become more and more unhinged. That's what Irony means, the exact opposite of the expected outcome occurred.

@eli.3173 I've seen it a total of 3 times I believe. But I'm serious. Chimera ants made me question what my own beliefs were rooted and based in. I don't have luxury neither do I have misery. Nothing and I mean nothing broke me to the core of my soul when Killua was still in such deep heartbroken pain from Gon's words yet still tbe love for him had him not only honor his vow to help and protect Gon. Even after Gon said f*ck the promise you gave. But Killua still with all his growth and love still faught, bled and cried for his bestfriend the same way I would. When you never got a sense of self worth to others as a child and teen. You feel less worthy. And kil put all his worth and love In Gon. Because he knew he could fight and go to any length for that one person. That's what broke me. Knowing I'm that friend who feels like no matter how much I can do, relate and succeed in. I never felt someone needed me as much as I did him ever. And I dedicated myself to someone too that pushed me out without realizing. I pray Togashi can one day put the closing page on Hunter X Hunter's story. The greatest pieve of fiction to ever exist.
