Hey guys, here's my new AMV.As you can allready tell it's a Hunetr X Hunter one.This may surprize some of you but I just reacently discovered this Anime :D Yeah, thats right, I started watching it this year and boy was I missing out :D When I started wathing this I couldn't stop.I marathoned it in like a week :D It was that good.So for those of you who haven't watched it, I definitely recomend it.

MystTale Actually all things considered Kurapika has the most unfair growth factor in the series, he went from being considered weaker than both Gon and Killua (in the Hunter Exam it was stated to be as such), to being stronger than potentially the Chimera Arc versions of the two within a tiny fragment of time. He also has an automatic boost in all of his abilities from his eyes and which converts his Nen to Specialist allowing him to train and utilise all types of Nen at full capacity. Really, if I didn't know any better I'd say he's the Uchiha of this series with him being all Avenger as well. He's just missing the copy everything skill (Ging laid claim to that one, instant copy and acquisition of any impact technique he sees just from pure talent, I call HAX) Considering he's now a Zodiac as well, he's recognised as one of the top Hunters of the series, part of the group considered just below the Chairman of the Hunters.

vc180191 Actually it isn't that he has an unfair growth factor, because in terms of growth factor gon and Killua have so much more potential than Kurapika. Kurapika placed a sacrifice on his heart, right? That single-handedly allowed him to boost his power, not because of growth but because of an Exchange so to say. "Kurapika imposed a Limitation onto this chain, so that it can only be used to deal with members of the Phantom Troupe. If this condition is violated, Kurapika will die." Meaning his power chain jail can only be used on the spiders. Rather than using his natural growth rate (which would of allowed him to become much more powerful, but at the cost of time), he forced him self to grow unnaturally and abnormally. Chain Jail being one of his more powerful techniques, without it he couldn't restrict his opponents leaving him unable to use different strategist.

Conditions and Clause only boost the power of the Nen under the Clause, it does nothing to the individuals Nen itself or their max capacity or training in Aura, your reserves and abilities grow without affection from the Clause, all it will do will empower the Nen brought up in the Clause. As such, his growth in all areas is not from his Clause, all that affects is the power of Chain Jail, and Chain Jail alone, his other four Nen skills are not under Clause, he can use them against anybody without any additional power from his Clause. That also means he NATURALLY gained enough Enhancement to almost go toe to toe with Ugo physically, something that would have balked Gon at the time, the natural Enhancement user.

I kind of like how the author made Kurapika since (spoiler) while becoming the new Rat of the Zodiac is one thing, from the start, I didn't expect Kurapika to a de facto crime boss among the zodiacs who had lawyers and cops. Almost feels like Owlman at this point.

If it wasn't for how Kurapikas nen worked and how he can only use it for the spiders I think he would probably be the strongest. In time he would be even better than he was and he can use any type of nen when he goes into that mode with his scarlet eyes. Well in all honesty the state Kurapika is in now no. He would get easily slaughtered. But in time he would probably be a very dangerous person to mess with. I mean defeating a spider at a very young age and there were one of the strongest groups. If he finds a way around that restriction then he would be a very good challenge to a lot of people.

Shashikar A wrong. Kura is probably the most skilled/talented with nen usage than anyone whose skills are known other than Netero. He’s an expert with limitations/restrictions(if not tied for the best at setting them in place with Chrollo. It’s hard to say whose restrictions are better. Kura’s is more easy to use, but at such a high cost). Kura can use Gyo, In, and Shu fairly easily despite having learned nen not long ago. I’m thinking he can use more of those branches like en and ko, but i can’t assume it or state it as fact as it hasn’t been shown, but just from these he’s already high class and passes the feats of his peers/friends in the show in terms of nen efficiency. I laugh when people say chain jail is his only effective weapon. From you saying that, I’m assuming you don’t know what his last chain does, so I won’t spoil it, but it’s useful af both in and outside of battle, and his most useful ability is being a specialist and using “emperor time”. You got the timing wrong on it. Every second spent in emperor time shortens his lifespan by an hour. Not 1 year every second. If it was a year every second he’d already be dead, but emperor time does let him efficiently use every nen category which makes him one of the strongest hunters in the show and one of the most versatile(basing this off of abilities shown.. had to specify because this would exclude people like Ging, Pariston, Beyond, etc. whose abilities and nen usage are unknown but are deemed very strong). He has incorporated every one of the nen categories into his arsenal(chains), which is a feat only shown by Netero so far I believe, as Netero uses them all to use his 99 buddhisatva(dunno how to spell it tbh). Furthermore Kurapika has hella survivability in battle using enhancement(the holy chain) which can nearly instantly heal a serious wound and he’s really intelligent, having been seen to both make plans before a battle and to outsmart opponents on the fly during battle. Something akin to Chrollo and Hisoka. Hell, even outside of battle, he’s great at analyzing situations and outwitting people. The only thing I’d see Kurapika having trouble with are those who have super speed like killua(Godspeed), meruem, the royal guards, and netero and perhaps those that could prolong a battle for over an hour, as Kura gets fatigued after being in emperor time for a while(manga states it was a 3 hour time limit but if he’s actively using nen the time will lessen but I don’t think it specified how much), but anyway I don’t see a fight that prolonged happening against Kura. Anyway, with the speed problem, he wouldn’t be able to hit those people or react fast enough to stop their attacks. I mean as smart as he is, I’m sure he could find a way, but thats too speculative to use as a defense, hence why I think he’d lose in those scenarios assuming the speedsters would rush him and not give him time to think, but with anyone else who doesn’t dabble in superhuman/superhunter speed, he’d give a good fight to them and would most likely ultimately beat them. Troupe or not. Out of all of Kurapika’s arsenal, I’m only unsure about his judgment chain’s restriction in terms of being a troupe only thing or if it can be used on everyone, since he used it on himself to set the conditions for Chain jail which Chain Jail seems to be the only ability announced as being tailored to the troupe, I’m assuming he can use the judgment chain like he did to kill Uvogin and to stop Chrollo from using nen or else he’d die, to efficiently kill or deter people if they violate an order of his. Of course he’d have to pierce his opponent’s heart with it, which surprises me that it doesn’t already kill someone, but anyway he seems to be able to pierce people well enough with it XD

That's because Uvo was in a state of Zetsu, he couldn't use his enhancement to break the chains. Furthermore, those chains were fortified by Kurapika's specialist Nen and we know that he has 100% control over every category of Nen (when he has the scarlet eyes), so his enhanced chains are very strong. Uvo has a lot of brawn but in a state of Zetsu it's just impossible to break Nen enhanced chains of someone who has 100% control over the enhancer category. Kurapika explained this very well during their fight...

X fighters Yes that’s exactly the point. Once they’re caught, they’re done for. The thing about Chain Jail though is that he can only use it on the Spiders, but that is only for the specific Chain Jail ability.
