Uvo was the strongest enhancer in the phantom troupe which means he was also physically the strongest and fastest amongst them. Him losing to Kurapika doesn't diminish how strong he actually was. There is probably a handful hunters around the world that are capable of defeating him. Cheatah wouldn't stand a chance against him, he would literally get oneshot. Uvo is probably as the same level as the kings guards.

Original beginning is back on the menu! Of course it's still toned down, even if you see still-images right out of the manga when Meruem eats the Nen user's innards: instead of the leotards, the dancers are bare-breasted with only a G-string on in the manga. The "king of kings" and "great father of the people" was called Ming Jol-ik in the English manga translation (an anagram of North Korea's Kim Jong-il), where the Japanese version of an anagram is getting lost in translation in the anime, coming from Kim Jong-il's name in Hanja (金正日) which is then broken down to each character's reading gold/masa/day which transcribed in rōmaji is gōrudo/masa/dei = Masadoru Deīgo = Masador Diego, whose death is of course much more graphic in the manga. 9:29 Another questionable change. They were not called fanatics in the manga but more accurately cougars.

This series could have been great if sadly the mangaka didn't overwork himself and mess up his body. He has back and hip issues where he can't even sit for short periods of time. When he did try to restart the manga he had literally lie down with a pillow on his back to draw.

This part in the entire series is a small remnant of togashis original plan to have gon and killua be lovers. Things back then meant management forced him to change that but killua here is very much JEALOUS the entire time. Killua is in particular, not very good with women. Exluding his youngest sister. What IS pretty numerous however is killua blushing because something gon said to him or about him. That scene they had under the stars at night by a campire and having spent all of their time together was pretty romantic already but what gon says to killua about having so much fun with him and wanting him to stay together was hardcore. He even makes killua say that he does love being with him. The little ending bits go even harder than this by putting them under a lovers unbrella and all the sexual innuendos and them kissing and trying to kiss each other.
