Bonolenov plays music to conjure stuff, i don't know if it's limited to The Planets by Gustav Holst but when he conjured Jupiter, the Jupiter suite was playing on the background.

In Japan, Jupiter is famous for song covered by Japanese female singers, but it was originally a classical song. Hirahara Ayaka “Jupiter”is very nice song.

If Lacrimosa isn't widely recognized (much less named) during Uvo's requiem, then why would you expect any stranger (on KZbin or otherwise) to just get a reference to an even lesser-known symphony? I actually listen to this kind of music occasionally and still only learned about Jupter from a KZbin comment like this.

@@FelipeF78 Gustav Holst's The Planet's is a pretty well known suite of amazing music! I used to go to sleep listening to a vinyl album by Japanese composer Isao Tomita. Tomitas Planet's is performed on one of the first ever synthesizers! It's worth looking up if you never heard it!

Phinks ability is awesome considering how simplistic it is. Just pump your arm and the punch gets stronger, that's it. No fancy conditions that have to be met or a need for complicated weapons, tools or body modifications. Also his ability has the same effect as Gon's but Phinks can move while charging.

The nen power of Bonolenov ( Jupiter ) is not random Power, Jupiter is mostly composed by hydrogen n helium with no solid surface under the atmosphere, its these magnetic particle vibration which generate some of the sounds. Jupiter is the only planet known for emitting all kinds of radio waves that sound like some sort of Alien music. ( his power is inspired by a classical music called Jupiter ) they played part of it when he activated his ability.

17:28 I feel like that Jupiter attack is not an actual conjured planet, but its more of a visual representation of how massive and destructive the Emitted sound attack is. 21:17 Remember Nen contracts? It's what makes Kurapika hella strong. Experienced Nen users most likely have contracts & conditions to make their ability more powerful. For example, Phinks condition is pretty straightforward. Everytime he winds up his arm, his punch gets stronger. An Enhancer ability. In Shalnark's case, he powered himself up in exchange for days of muscle aches & memory loss. We see an absurd amount of Ren, so it's most likely falls into the Enhancer category. (even though Shalnark is a Manipulator) 22:01 You do get to choose your own power, however it's best to pick things that you are natural with. Kastro from Heaven's Arena chose Conjurer & Manipulator abilities even though he is an Enhancer, which is not compatible... and he had no contracts, unlike Shalnark. I'm guessing Kalluto likes Origami paper, which is she uses paper as her ability. Using things that you like is better, like Gido's tops (Heaven's arena, red cloth spinning dude), Gon's JanKenPon (he likes rock paper scissors), Hisoka's bungee gum & texture surprise (both are his favorite snacks)

No he definitely did summon a giant Jupiter as an attack, he *is* a conjurer, and his condition for conjuring is that he plays music with his body. The music playing in the soundtrack is Jupiter Bringer of Jollity by Gustav Holst. There's a planets/space theme to a lot of the Troupe members (Big Bang Impact for example) so it's fitting that Bonolenov would use music attacks named after The Planets suite.

Shalnark muscle ache is for using his body beyond his limit. Not a condition. The condition is being in autopilot and not remember all that happens while under the effect (plus put the antenae in himself). In exchange wins a temporary aura burst.

Jupiter is basically a giant ball of air and, since "sound" is how our brain capture the air being bended by waves, Bonolenov conjuring a "Jupiter" means he is just bending a huge portion of air with soundwaves 🤓

Everything that vibrates gives off sound, and in many cases other frequencies and waves can also be converted into a sound-like waveform and played as audio. There are similar clips of the Sun too. This has nothing to do with Jupiter being special for sound.

Those are radio waves that Jupiter's known for, not actual sound. And all large bodies make it, Jupiter's just noteworthy since it's the second largest body in the solar system after the Sun. Unless Togashi also made the same mistake in interpreting its noise, I'd reckon the music piece is the actual reference for the attack.

Not all members are fighters. Or atleast, specialise in fighting. Shalnark for example is just on infiltrator/intellect guy. However because of his lack of fighting skills he created an abilty that allows him to go super sayan in times of emergency. It's really interesting

Most of the Phantom Troupe is from Meteor City, including Uvo and Pakunoda, this was explained in the York New City arc. The original members grew up together in Meteor City.

Really straightforward episode. One of the best in terms of adaptation. No repeat scene at the start and everything is 1:1 from the manga. Only little thing (again) is the subpar subtitles, turning Feitan's intentionally broken English (his mother tongue is different from the one spoken in this part of the world, mostly in Chinese characters) from "joke not funny" to "what a lame joke." 24:48 If you really want to know where Hisoka is from - tough luck but there is a "name" (English loanword, pronounced "name-u" in Japanese, meaning a rough draft) one-shot called Hisoka no Kako (Hisoka's Past) from Tokyo Ghoul mangaka Ishida Sui, claiming that he was indeed taken in by a circus. Togashi approved of it, even if it's not canon.
