I read his book a while back. He was very candid about the travails endured by his immediate family and he had useful but tender insights about his Roosevelt grandmother. Thanks for posting his presentation.

Such a marvelous talk! When I visit Hyde Park or read books about the Roosevelts and the times in which they lived, I mourn. I mourn for them and about how badly issues they championed have often turned out.

It is sad how it turned out because many problems back then were swept under the rug for keeping appearances and as it is lately in our modern time when issues are dealing with human's nature of a wide range of emotions and values they set standards for.
