Tom, thanks for getting the best out of this group of kids. Dean really solidified his passion for snare drum and marching in general this year and I know you had a big hand in that.

High School Marching percussion has advanced by leaps-and-bounds in the last many decades. Drum corps has had an impact.

No disrespect but the music is like a video i saw and it said “when the snares are better than the quads”

No disrespect I get what you mean! That’s intentional. The two quad players here were first year marchers, so this was their year to get up to speed. The snares came in with a lot more experience. The center snare had just come off of a summer of winning a percussion title in drum corps. So of course the books had to end up being quite different in terms of what I was asking them to do.
