Hunter I am so In love with you. I saw you in concert July 19 2013. In Kingsport Tennessee. I love you so much. My favorite line in this song is "there's just enough hope when it shines to go one scared step at a time" as soon as the album came out I bought it. I fall asleep listening to it. This is my favorite song on the album! This song reminds me of my connection with God and how I'm trying to find out his plans for me and like Hunter said which road to follow (as a 21 almost 22 year old myself) it's the time to make all of these decisions and you want to make the right ones and not go down the wrong path. I love this song it always uplifts me and gives me the hope that everything will be okay. I just need to trust God and believe in myself. Thank you Hunter! You're such an amazing songwriter/musician and you really know how to speak to people's hearts. You're such a great person and thanks for all that you do!

I kind- of skimmed over this song after getting the CD; but after having to sit in a car for a while, I listened to it and then again and again. I realized how much I love and appreciate the subtleness of this song, yet the truth in it can move mountains. "The moments that save my life that nobody knows about" - that is my favorite line too. Great job on the entire CD! I've had it for a long while now, and I still love the songs on it...how the songs flow - there is so much fun and love, yet real and pain and truth throughout.

At our age " i'm 20 " it's amazing to see a famous guy like you " normal like everybody else" singing about God in I way i can't really express. Yes, I have been waiting for this video! My favorite line of the song is "Tell me who am I; You keep shinning on me." There are times, more than I would like to admit, where I lose focus on the important things and fall into a sad emotional hole about the less important things. But then I regain focus and I relearn how truly blessed I am. I often think to myself, "How did I become worthy of so many wonderful moments? How did this come to be?".. I never kenw that my friends were my biggest miracle especially one of them he helps me through everything hes there when I need him the most when I need a shoulder to cry on or when I'm going through things I can't go alone. Couldn't get should of him for 2 years and one day ( three weeks ago) I was walking my dog by my house and he was ganna take a different way to get to his friends house but came my way (miracle) and he said hi I smiled and looked away he said Hey Angel I looked at him and started crying because I had been through so much tried killing myself I didn't think I could do it alone he came up to me and wrapped his arms around me and the last 3 weeks it's been a little easier . When I was 10 (4 years ago) I tried to kill myself and he helped me through it all. I am so greatfull to have him in my live.

I LOVED this song when I first heard it on the album! Loved how it was basically a ballad to Jesus thanking him for his guidance and offering his "rough around the edges heart" to Him. I have to admit though that I was kind of disappointed that he didn't mention God in this interview...he kind of skirted around the edge. but he has made it very clear-or used to- that he believes in Christ and as a believer myself, we dont necessarily have a language but when you hear someone talking like that...just something bout it tells you that he is talking bout his belief. idk how to explain but i definitely hear it when he says in the song "Im glad you dont keep score, my prayers are all the same as the ones i prayed before, and thank you for forgiving me, my rough around the edges heart is yours" and " and its funny when i realize all the places that your miracles can hide" and theres more. like i said its hard to explain but when youre a believer you just know. We all know that this song is about God. I'm kind of disappointed in Hunter for not manning up to the fact that it was about God just to be a people pleaser. Who cares what people think? He can believe what he wants without having to worry about what his fans think. If he really loses fans based on the fact that they don't believe in the same thing, is ridiculous. They shouldn't have been a fan in the first place because they should've known that he is always wearing a cross necklace and he wrote a religious song earlier called "Faith to fall back on". If anything he probably would gain more fans from the Christian community. This video kinda pisses me off actually.
