I'm thinking about a Quietcat Apex HD in the Moss Camo. That's not a cheap bike and is double what this one costs. I wonder just "how much" better the Quietcat actually is to justify it's price although I'm sure it's much higher quality and offers better support for repairs and replacement parts when the time comes. With that said you have to be really committed to spending $3,000 - $3,500 on a bicycle. I've bought vehicles, motorcycles and scooters for that or less. This one is about $1,599 or something and that is a little more budget friendly. IMO they all should be able to make and sell them for around that. You can buy a decent Yamaha YZ125 or YZ250 used for what some of these E-Bikes costs. Tomos mopeds never cost that kind of money back when they were still made. Neither did Yamaha Razz, JOG or Zuma scooters.

Guessing that mid drive motor and the frame on the Quit Kat would be the main difference. Not worth double the price..

@@thr33eyedmonster Vista Outdoors owns them now as well. I'm not a fan of Vista Outdoors because they bought up a entire ammunition and reloading components industry and now have a monopoly where they control/fix prices and slow production to create artificial shortages and price gouging.

@@thr33eyedmonster The Aventon Aventure 2 would be another good one again for about half of what the Quietcat costs. Not sure yet...but the more I think about it the Quietcat starts to seem grossly overpriced even if it is slightly better quality. $3,000 - $3,500 would buy a pretty nice used 125cc or 250cc dirt bike. $1,500 - $1,700 wouldn't and you are getting this which to me is basically the modern day equivalent of a Tomos moped which if they were still made I would get one of those. I don't want to buy a 20 - 40+ year old one all beat to death, ridden into the ground and worn out for $800 - $1,500 so here we are with this and a E-Bike.
