At the risk of being lambasted, gotta be honest here...sounds great, but wayyy too much silence between notes considering there are 7 people on stage. That's a LOT of potential untapped impact here. Think Earth, Wind,& Fire or GB's own band. There is a fullness missing almost as if the horns are waiting for their chance to play buried in a groove missing it's leader.. Guitar representing the riff/melody up there would drive this so much further, you'd never know you were playing the song if it weren't for the lyrics, which nobody cares about in the first place: Benson is about the in-the-pocket groove with tasty melody. It sounds very "Late Night TV Show" version of a song that needs no remaking. Listen to HSCC's version.

I knew Louis Cato playing the drums with John Scofield, Marcus Miller (!!!!!!) among other greats. I knew he plays the bass too. I’m learning now he plays the guitar and is a very good singer, arranger, etc... Wow!
