If you want another Poison/Dragon legendary besides Naganadel, I recommend Eternatus Fire resists Fairy, so I recommend getting either your Charizard in the fight or finding Reshiram and fusing it with Kyurem, which makes it Fire/Dragon Im not sure if the Hisuian forms are here, but Hisuian Goodra is a Steel/Dragon too The only Fairy/Dragon is Mega Altaria, which naturally is a Dragon/Flying type Oh yeah. Mawile is a Steel type and that's why it can't be poisoned, Fairy does not resist itself, but Fire does resist it For future reference in the Steel gym, Steel is the only type that resists Dragon, so you will need Fighting, Ground, or Fire type on your team or in move coverage You can use Exp candies when training because they give flat exp, not levels, I believe Medium ones givemaround 3000 exp? I know xl ones give 30k and large ones give 10k but im not sure about Med ones

I think that having toxic spikes is better than having the move "toxic" because if you put two layers of toxic spikes the poison turns into toxic and everything except I think flying and levitate pokemon will get hit by the toxic spikes as soon as they are put out saving you turns on constantly using toxic on your opponent

Two other Poison Pokémon you may want to get before fighting the Fairy Gym is Dragalge and Eternatus. There is also Dialga and Hisuian Goodra, both of whom are Dragon and Steel Type. But I don’t know if the Hisuian Pokémon Forms are in this version of Pixelmon

Nag is prob one of the best u can get, it covers weakness to fairy and has good coverage with flamethrower. EV it to speed and sp atk and with beast boost it will run through enemies

Duraladon has an evolution, dialga is a dragon steel type, palkia is just a good typing overall being water steel, you can fuse either reshiram or zekrom with kyerum, drampa is either a dragon normal type or pure dragon I forget, and you could also technically get an arceus if you get the draconic plate and put it on him because then it will turn into dragon.

Dialga can be found in a Desert Hills biome by using an Adamant Orb on a Timespace Altar that has been activated with a Red Chain. It has two type weaknesses (Fighting and Ground) and six neutral type matchups (Dark, Dragon, Fairy, Fire, Ghost, and Ice). In addition, Dialga has an Altered Form (which you will find it as) and it has an Origin Form that's actually bulkier than the Altered Form. You can switch Dialga to its Origin Form by interacting with it using an Adamant Crystal. An Adamant Crystal has a 5% (1/20) drop rate when battling Leafeon, Umbreon, and Vaporeon in the wild. Also, Dialga's Sp. Atk stat maxes out at 438, while its Defense and Special Defense stats can max out at 372. Bonus, Dialga has a broken moveset.

Charizard is good pick on Fairies. Fire resists Fairy. Mawile is Steel/Fairy, making it immune to Poison. Then there is a Fire Dragon, Turtonator, that has Counter Move... Then if you want to try, there is Reshiram. Legendary Fire Type, that can fuse with Kyurem like Zekrom... For Steel, you got Dialga.

There are a couple dragon pokemon that you should get which will be useful, both legendaries - Eternatus (poison dragon) and Dialga (dragon steel). You also will want attacks that are strong against steel, as it resists most types and there are fairys with that type

Getting a maga altaria would give you a Dragon/fairy, although it's still weak against Poison, Steel, Ice, and Fairy-types. I don't know if paradox Pokemon are in Pixelmon yet but if so roaring moon (alternate version of salamence) being a dragon/dark type.

Your issue is that Mawile is a Fairy/Steel type. Steel is immune to Poison. All you need is a dragon with a fire move, that'll absolutely blast through any Poison immunities and use Naganadel to finish off the rest. I do recommend getting Toxic Spikes tho- else you have to keep using Toxic- Venoshock-Toxic-Venoshock. You'll be saving half your turns. When Biffle switches a new Pokemon in, you can immediately go for Venoshock once you've laid out the toxic spikes at the start of the battle. It's just spam Venoshock til you win, basically. If you wanna be more than sure, try to get a Dialga. Dragon/Steel. And please take Duraludon with you.

Swap a move for toxic spikes because it can be used twice to give the badly poisoned effect to everyone who switches in the problem is how much health you have left after you have got attacked for 2 turns. To solve this issue get a second popol and evolve it it have the same moveset in case the fist one faints and sweep any one who isn't a steel type

You Got unlucky with the Mawile, that being said the other Poison Dragon's are Eternatus, and Dragalge, Both of which are fun. If you want another Steel Dragon, a Hisuian Goodra's a Good Pick, albeit it's tricky to set up as you have to evolve a Goomy into a Hisuian Sliggoo during a thunderstorm, and the Hisuian Sliggoo into the Hisuian Goodra during the Storm as well. I also saw a prior post talking about how Fire types have resistance to fairy, which isn't correct, but not incorrect, they're neutral. They were also talking about How Reshiram fusing with Kyurem makes it Fire/Fairy, which is completely wrong, but anyhow if you're looking for an EASIER Fire/Dragon Type to find that STILL gives you a decent chance, there's one called "Turtonator" which you can find in the Nether, they spawn EVERYWHERE there, albeit you need to be careful not to die and lose your items, but the point is there.

Also the fairy thing for Kyurem White was a typo because my brain functions faster than I type and I was thinking of Fairy types, and I already fixed it. There is no Fire/Fairy types somehow, it's the only type yet to be paired with Fire Fire does resist Fairy, it is one of the only types that does resist it. Its even on Bulbapedia if you want to fact check it, but Fairy does weak damage to Steel, Poison, and Fire While it itself resists Dark, Fighting, and Bug

To deal with annoying pokemon like mawile who are immune to poison, I'd recommend a fire type because fire resists fairy, meaning it's type match up would be the same, but you could actually hit it. A good Fire/Dragon is Reshiram or Mega Charizard X.

There is a legendary pokemon called Eternatus it is a dragon/poison type. It knows a move called toxic spikes it poisons pokemon that are swapped in and will badly poison them if you use it twice. Eternatus also knows this signature dragon type move called Dynamax Cannon. Also I am not sure if you can do this in a gym battle or not but there is a thing called Dynamaxing that makes your pokemon huge. Charizard also has a Gigantamax form. Might want to look into it Edit- Also Dynamaxing is what that Pinsir did.

If you Evolve Daraludon it is a Dragon Steel type if you get like aluminum metal or something, it’s a item you give it it evolves into one of the best Pokémon that came in Gen 9 it’s Called Archalidon and has the sign to move electro shot. Give it assault vest make sure it gets the ability stamina build a good new set and you win but Dialga is a big help it is Steel Dragon too
