I’m looking after my 95 yr old father who was an anaesthetist and marvellous musician and now has short term memory loss. He still does the crossword everyday and knows who I am etc but often can’t remember what I’ve just said to him and we have the same conversation over and over. It’s exhausting. I love him so much. It’s heart breaking to see someone who has saved many lives and helped many people unable to make a decision or to know what day it is, I hope you have someone you can trust who can look out for you as you get older. I hate the way these scum scammers cut the person off from their family and friends. How can you cheat and lie to someone you have been chatting/texting to every day for sometimes years. I will say this, scammer are criminals, losers and heartless. They only love $$$$. When someone contacts you through social media assume they are scammers, BLOCK them and do not respond to them. They are hollow inside. A better suggestion. Only accept friend requests from people that you know and you can touch. If you are lonely, volunteer get involved with your church, invite your friends over for a cup of tea. This world is harsh and cruel. I get it I tried to help my elderly friends gave all been scammed $500 to $3500. One was going to put $40k cash in hollowed out book to a homeless shelter in Ohio in exchange for $400k from federal grant. It took me two weeks to convince her she gave scammers all her identity info! I had to have her friend she claimed on fb told her it was real to call from Florida to tell her it was a scam before she believed me. Exhausting. My other younger friends with kids fell for romance scams would give scammers in Africa their bank account numbers! Omg. I don't talk to those friends anymore.

I helped a coworker deal with this. At first she did not believe me. But I spent a boatload of time researching the story she told me. I found the guy. Turns out he was scamming andvhad scammed many other women. I even found out where he lived, and the real person he stole the photos from. Eventually it was just too much for her to ignore and she realized it was all a con job. Claimed to be an engineer but wrote beuatiful poetry to her. Engineers are not known for their poetry lol. His story was he needed money for his crew in The middle east due to them being hurt in a fire (um any oil drilling company would have insurance - any such fire would be news but no confirmation could be found). So many red flags but she thought she was in love and being loved. So sad these jerks take advantage of vulnerable women. May they rot in hell, but before that day that goodness for the men in this video!!

look we all agree that the scammers are pieces of shits who manipulate and fool you, but lets not keep acting as if the victim not at fault a little bit too, there is a reason why not everybody fall for these scams... how come there are many people who able to see the very extremely obvious red flags while others cant? so not to be rude but Sheila was indeed a bit stupid, and NO you shouldnt take this as an insult, we learn from our mistakes, you have to realize that YES i was stupid and i fallen for the stupidest most obvious scam ever and i need to learn from this and never do it again, if you keep saying oh it wasnt my fault oh i did nothing wrong its only the scammers fault, this is called denial, if you keep telling yourself that you werent at fault then soon you gonna repeat the same mistake again... anyone with a logical sense or mind would block this scammer as soon as he said he is some rich famous european nato person or whatever he said he is, how can people be this gullible to think that some very famous rich person would message you aka a random stranger who is a nobody to them, you think any celebrity or politician would message YOU??? how can someone think that they are important enough to be messaged by someone like that... but whats worse is that lets say you believe that its a rich famous guy and you even believe the obvious lies that within 2 weeks he fall in love with you a random old lady over the internet, how can you possibly believe it that he would need YOUR MONEY??? how?? do you have any idea how much money someone that famous and rich has on their bank accounts? do you have any idea how many private doctors and nurses they have and medical staff and private jets and 10s of houses and villas.... so you telling me that someone is not stupid for believing that this rich famous guy is locked in a hospital and cant leave cause has no money??? seriously??? its almost as if some people just really wanna be scammed or they are just mentally not well so they should go take a visit to a doctor... for example Sheila she lost 2 of the most important man in her life then even lost a best friend so what she shouldve done is to go to therapy to threat herself to spend money on herself to recover to not be lonely and depressed or such... but instead she wasted all that money on this stupid scammer, people really need to start following the saying: "if its too good to be true it probably is not so its a scam" and another rule of thumb never send money to someone you never met and never video called etc but nowadays with ai stuff even vid call isnt safe anymore best to meet irl before sending or giving money to anyone

Well she knew about the letters and that wasn’t even her residence as she said. But her “husband” is aware of this guy “Sole” (nickname most likely) then there’s the Jose and the additional “friends” whom are supposedly residing in her rented apartments. That’s a bigger operation and she is aware of it.

@@dvnbrat Venezuela is a pretty rotten place to live, even if you do have money. I live in Florida and know a lot of Venezuelan people, and none would even consider returning. I have a very hard time believing she returned there because she wanted to. Seems far, far more likely she felt her role in these scam companies was catching up to her and fled back to Venezuela with her ill gotten gains. Venezuela is a country that doesn't extradite people to the U.S., so unless she returns to the U.S., the most that can happen is any assets she has inside the U.S. could be confiscated.

I tend to have a shorter attention span these days when watching videos or TV shows, movies, etc. But sometimes some content will keep me interested enough to jot get impatient for the end to get there. I was fully invested in watching this video. I started watching it at work yesterday, and only stopped when it was time to leave. Then I watched more at work today, and finished it at home tonight. Something has got to be really good to keep me that motivated t9 continue watching. And this definitely kept me motivated. I can't wait to see more updates as they are available. I want to see what happens to Camila, and what happens in Nigeria. I hope they catch all the bad people in this scam, and they are prosecuted and punished for their crimes. And I also hope they can recover at least some of Sheila's money.
