I've been hunting fossils for over 60 years since I found brachiopods in a creek on my cousin's farm. My current favorite place is rich in Devonian era fossils in Toledo, Ohio, but finding an ichthiosaur spine must have been heart stopping. Awesome for you both. Congrats!

I love your accent! On a trip to the UK I had a few hours to collect along the Dorset cliffs. Found a few Microceras sp. What an amazing place to collect. I'm envious that you can go here frequently

Some nice ammonite finds there, but the spine is just awesome! And I must tell you that your filming of the cliffs and sea in the mist is beautiful! So brooding, like a movie set. Can't wait for the rest of that dinosaur.

Hi, I'm from Texas in the Hill County north of Uvalde in Camp Wood. I have collected late Cretatous fossils in my area. Bi Valves, Gastrapods, Econoids and Shrimp Burrows. I also have collected Trilobite Coprolites in central Texas, one of two places in the United States. I was wondering if you would like to trade a few of my fossils for one of your Ammonite. Thank you for your attention. John Daut

Did Ichthyosaurs eat ammonites
@Pancake_Dragons Жыл бұрын
Probably not? They were more like fishers who ate fish from rivers, and I think ammonites lived in oceans, but I could be wrong.

Thank you, everyone. Just seems like so many Ammonites there with the bones of the larger animals. They must have been such a successful species.

I'm looking for a fossil of something interesting for my grandson who's crazy about them. Not really anything I can get in my area. Is there anything you could sell me to create a framed picture for his bedroom wall.
