I dont believe this game is underrated, from everyone who has played or seen it I know they have absolutely loved it. Its just it can get repetitive once played over and over again for 200+ hours, which will definitely change as more content is added.

My first bison I took with the crossbow I got a perfect broadside at 70 yards and I was able to get it in the left lung but that was as far as it went. Also I don't know if you want to but the Dev build fixed the rangefinder problem

Honestly the animal just standing there after being shot and casually walking off is kinda realistic I’ve had more than a few deer In real life I’ve hit with kill shots and they just flinch stand there and walk off like nothing happened then fall over and die

@@retrogunroom I hit a doe quartered away from me with a bow not exactly sure what happened but when I shot the arrow hit her rib cage opened her up like a zipper guts fell out she looked down at them hanging out of her and just walked away and keep feeding around I was able to put another arrow in her and kill her

What do you prefer Hunter Call of the wild or way of the Hunter? Plz respond I am trying to figure out which one to get!

Call of the wild is faster paced in the sense that you can kind of use exploits to grind hundreds of animals prett quickly using drink zones and fast travel. Also has TONS of content. Way of the hunter is newer and slower paced (more realistic) and has better graphics but less content. Hope that helps. 👍🏽

7:30 ya, but for elk, i've seen hunting videos where ppl shot elks, they just stand there for a bit and then drop. they don't even jump or anything

If you want a broadside shot you can simply just wait and not call when they are close, they will turn around eventually.

Antlers are definitely bugged. I shot a 1 star mature elk with 17% genetics and it had huge antlers.

If it is I switched maps and then came back to aurora and slept for a few days straight then went back around midnight and the last fox you have to get finally spawned right where it was supposed to

Yes easy mode or hardest mode the animals act the same. I think the devs need to fix this now. The only difference for difficulty is glowing tracks and since fools try to say meh I don't need glowing tracks I've got hours to spend on one animal I don't mind. You don't get glowing tracks in real life wah wah wah. You don't get glowing tracks no. But you get a much better sense of direction in real life and you get smells too. Animals stink real bad. Especially when you pop them. The poop too. But you don't get no smells in game. You get glowing pointers instead. So the devs need to fix this now and make the animal AI actually difficult on hunter mode so those who flex that actually have something to flex. I play easy mode because I'm out here looking for 1 mile heart shots and well you know. If I wanted to drop every animal on its heels being slow and pretending I'm a real hunter i could easily do that. But I'm out here for fun trying to snipe animals and get through as many as I can before that sun ducks down. I'm on day 3 with this game and already made 600-700m vital shots. Unlocked two lodges flew through the story missions without even really trying. Spent atleast 30k already I have nothing left to buy. I'll buy the expensive shotgun next 11k just cos. Then a 22Lr then I have everything unlocked already. That's a joke. I don't have a 5 star drop yet but I just dropped a 99% mature 4 star WT. This is an easy game whoever you are the hardest part about hunting games is getting the luck with spawns. Every animal is a train. It just goes around and around its tracks. Flex your trophy lodge and longest accuracy shots. Not you can spend extra time doing pointless activities.
