The videography in both episodes is second to none. Loved watching the greylag hunt. Are you not counting the mallards and canadas you shot in Sweden because of upcoming North America episodes, or is this just 100 species that you’ve not shot before? Cheers from a first year duck hunter down in Texas. I was able to knock down 12 species of duck this year, and am already anxious for next season.

Thank you for watching! Chiam is a wizard, incredibly talented behind the camera and with the edits, thank you. Great question, we are documenting all 100 (plus) species including ones we’ve already taken. Ryan is at 81 at the time of this project kicking off, but the goal is to start from zero. Certain species like Mallards, Canada sub species, etc we know we will shoot in multiple locations due to their expansive range and distribution. So we decided that we would officially check certain species off in locations that we have predetermined.

@@TheRoadto100 a big part of waterfowl hunting for me is preparing it and eating my harvest. I would be interested in seeing international cooking and how they prepare the harvested species, but either way won't keep me from watching.

I like this video, although as a swede I'd like to add that you can only shoot barnacles and beans on fields to protect xour harvest and not for hobby hunting.

How come Canada and mallard were not checked off?
@TheRoadto1008 ай бұрын
Great question! With many of these locations we know we will shoot the same species multiple times. We’ve decided to reserve officially checking certain species off until we take them in specific areas. Didn’t feel right checking off any of the Canada goose sub species in Sweden. We will check those off in North America.
