Old Fred has come a long way . He really worked his butt off . A lot of nice shooting . The ducks didn`t come in down here in Florida at all this past season . Our season 2019 - 2020 gone yesterday in one of our old pits I seen probably 50 to 75 Ringers and of course the Woodies starting to check out my woody box plus my neighbors boat house he had 12 whistlers land on the top . Hey bobby.. this might help for gun freezing.. I live in northern WI an hunt MN an WI an boi let me tell you 10 degrees is warm compared to here... but I run a beretta A400 xtreme unico an I clean it daily after every hunt an I use "Blaster Industrial Graphite lubricant".. an I've never had an issue an it isnt very much money an last for a long time I only apply it every 4 or 5 hunts

Bit of a crazy and ever so slightly expensive suggestion Bobby. But why not look into booking yourself a trip out to the UK to try out how we hunt. Guided trips to Scotland and across the UK is on offer. Our season starts September 1st and ends on the 20th of February.

Bobby check out Fish Monkey gloves. They make a mitt with half fingers that is water proof and camo. I use them for ice fishing as well as duck hunting. Keep those fingers nimble.

Buddy heater if you can for Fred. I also like to keep my dogs off the ground with Shappel Jet sled, gerber layout blind heating pad, inside it, and a camo type blanket over them. Like a taco. Dogs can quickly get hypothermia, and they are a tool that needs to be ready. Like your shotgun. Keep them warm and they can perform all day.

@10:26 When "Good Friends" sit you at the far wind side of the blind... be glad yours don't open up on the birds at 50 yards out at 50 degrees from their side, forcing you to make an unsafe shot from the blind pretty much over or through them at that angle. Know the feeling all too well of not getting off a shot on them until they are in the headwind and retreating.
