I’ve heard people hunting by the mrgo while fishing and sound the dogs make is crazy. Hard for a non hunter to sort the difference from their normal bark and “Oh my god I’m being eating by a gator”. It all sounds similar to me haha

we like to use vinegar to tenderize meat.. pour some over some meat, in a pan, cover it with saran wrap and let it sit overnight.., works on any type of meat.. great to tenderize steaks too.. rinse the meat before you cook it, or dont,, its good either way..works great to tenderize a big brisket.. we use vinegar and a soy based marinade then smoke it with mesquite wood, or live oak, then put it in a big electric roasting pan, then cook it on low heat for abt 5 hours,,,, melts in your mouth !!!! if u want to save money on your cooking oil, after you cook, sprinkle some baking soda in the grease, abt a tablespoon per quart of oil... let it set overnight,, all of the impuritues go to the bottom.. then pour the clean oil back into the bottle.. you can reuse the oil 4 or 5 times... especially if you just cooked some french fries, or hush puppies, fried okra, ect.. we dont do it with fish though. this is what most resturants do, because if they put new oil in every time they cooked, they would go broke..
@OutsidetheLevees6 ай бұрын
Shoot man sounds like you got it figured out. You should be the one with the KZbin channel! Thanks for your support

im learning alot of new thing watching your channel. your parents must be amazing in the kitchen as well... my older brother was a chef in the parish and worked at some good restaurants in New Orleans, and I used to watch my mother cook, and learned alot.. dont know if yall are related but I went to school with Bernard Serigne,. he lived not too far from meadows pond.. when you went past the pond right where it meets the levee, it was to the right, a few streets down.. @@OutsidetheLevees

Jarad, how do you remove the pellets from the game you shoot with your shotgun? My teeth are too fragile to bite down on a piece of hard, soft or otherwise metal. This was always a worry for me when eating duck, quail, dove or pheasant. Always tried to find shot while cleaning the birds but we always missed some. One thing about those beagles, they love to bark when chasing game! 😊

Jared do you know where meadows pond is in poydras? it was the little pond that was formed when they blew the levee for a hurricane a long time ago.. it was a favorite childhood fishinghole and had some huge bass.,, if you could go over there and get some footage, and maybe do some fishing it would mean the world to me.. you may have to find one of the people who live around the pond to allow you access.. I used to know a guy who lived over there, and he didnt mind me putting my pirouge in from his property and doing some fishing,, on the levee side of the pond theres some old, deep timber that the bass used to hang out at.. its a beautiful place,., 400 year old oak trees with spanish moss whisping in the wind.. one of the prettist places in the parish..,
@OutsidetheLevees6 ай бұрын
Yeah man it’s a beautiful spot. I’m sure I know someone over there but it’s a lot dif when you broadcast on the internet for the world to see. Landowners prob won’t want that
@randy1ization6 ай бұрын
yes, I understand... dont want everybody and thier brother going over there bird dogging.. hopefully those centuries old spanish oak trees survived Katrina... the houses can be rebuilt, but those trees are likely at least 400 years old.... its an enchanted place.. @@OutsidetheLevees
