Yeah I’ve done it before and it didn’t do anything for me… I ain’t gonna hate on anybody that enjoys to do it that way but to me personally it feels like I’ve cheated the birds life… completely takes away all of their senses and like you said, it’s dangerous as well….but I do like to use stationary decoys in the woods sometimes for videoing purposes or if I’m hunting with my family or hunting with my bow…I have spooked a lot of birds with Decoys as well, them public birds catch on to them stationary decoys pretty quick…anyway, thanks for following… got a lot more content coming 👍🏻

Awesome content bud you put a lot of work in the hunts and video and it shows. I've been chasing turkeys for over 30 years in big south fork and Daniel Boone my health and knee keeps me from been aggressive turkey hunter but you evolve over time to a different hunter with age because the passion is still there. It's a different feeling when you get one in big woods.

@@Hogmister11 hey buddy I hunt and live in TN and I know how hard it is to self film I have tried to do it several times on turkey and deer and I always messed up so that's the first video I seen of yours and I subscribed right away and I never have subscribed to nobody else. I guess what really hooked me was when you said thank you Lord because that's exactly what I say on every deer or turkey I ever killed and your passion for the spot is what it's all about and people take advantage of that a lot these days. I have hunted in LBL a lot but I live closer to Chattanooga. If you ever wanted to come hunt with me for a couple days I promise we would have a chance because I got 2 places on public land that nobody else knows that turkey's is there and I hunt by myself also but I would film you killing the first bird. I'm not joking about this buddy. You really touched me with your hunt and praising the Lord the way you did so if you would be interested in a hunt with me tell me and I'll send you my info. Omg, 1st get on the front side of the tree and quit moving around. You have a turkey gobbling within shotgun range and you won't stop moving. I couldn't even keep watching. Then you spooking him because of how your set up.

First of all, that was a jake and I could have shot him several times before I spooked him…. Second, that bird was within 50 yards when I first struck him and it was a crash and burn type of setup..no time to get in front of tree… it’s difficult when you have camera equipment…I was trying put the tree between him and I so I can get video of him….
