I don't know much about engines and rates but try to get rates from Shoba Bazar, Peshawar too, saw many many youtubers ordering engines for themselves from there.

3GR is very much better for fuel economy because of body to wait ratio. I owned both 4GR & 3GR mark x.

Salaam, greetings from Peshawar. I would like to know about the average Per Liter fuel consumption of your Mehran for the whole trip. Previous models of Suzuki were so sweet. My late father bought me Suzuki FX in 1985 that I drove for 22 years, till 2007. Still miss that car as I had no parking space for it anymore at my home. Toyota Corolla took that space :))

you should overhaul the engine , you can take your car to all motor garage in lahore thy might be able to help you, its a beast of an engine , find its owners manual and start learning , diesel motors are built like tanks.
