Hey guys! Ice angler here! 12 inches of ice can hold vehicles! If not sure of thickness check the ice before you take the sleds out on it. Also for ice camping ice actually makes noise and shifts as it’s growing! No worries when it’s that thick! Awesome video!

I should add that yes while that is a strong enough even for larger vehicles, lakes, ocean and especially rivers have current spots where the ice is considerably thinner. Those spots are what kills a LOT of ice fishers every year. If you don't know the area, its usually wise to ask around the locals because they know where the current spots are.
