Sometimes we focus too much on epic gear and forget that some rare gears are even better. Sub-Zero is out only one week and he's already my most powerful character (acc level 61). I barely have any epics for him, and I'm using all rare gear (expect for ice weapons) on him because they're all better statistically (two of them sum up for more than 700 total stat points apiece). It's the same for a few other characters as well. I have a lots of epic clubs for Swamp Thing, but use a rare one. Same for Robin's arms. My main Harley uses 3 rare gears on her kit. I could go on and on. Unless you're looking for a specific gear combination or cosmetic value, I don't think there's too much of a need to grind that much for epics. They're often not that epic, unfortunately.

I still play since day one I stared to collect all motherbox and opened then last month I had 10k bronze 20k silver 8k gold 139 platinum and 274 diamond I leveled all characters including dlc to level 30 also it took me a week to finish all I had to deleted all the gear unless it was the exclusive gear I had after I bought 20k gold boxs and after I got all moves staff of Grayson speedbow Batarang boomerang and the best move the cheese pizza of Michaelangelo like shit because I got rid of all the gear my bruh

Wayde Swann sub zero is great and all but he's hardly op. He's very Meter dependent. Also the lack of hitboxes on weapons (robin's sword, aquaman's trident, wonder woman's lasso, etc) render his ice clone useless.

For some reason, with his multiverse event, in the morning when he was released, he had one where if you complete all challenges, you can unlock a shader and epic level 20 gear, but they changed it in the afternoon for some reason, so unfortunately, the only way you can unlock is from a mother box, randomly during matches which is how I got redhoods "not for sale shader", or if the event opens again.
