Hi Brian! So those red screens are not random, the games are based upon bingo and when you hit a winning pattern the machine pays out accordingly. When you hit multiple patterns, the machine goes into red screen mode and will pay you beginning with the lowest pattern hit and each subsequent spin pays out according to the pattern hit. After your spins are over, the machine will display all the patterns hit by flashing them over and over ( inside corners, outside corners, stepladder ect) in the bingo card screen until you hit the spin button again. Anyway, just wanted to share and say I prefer VGT slots because you can win back to back to back to back due to the nature of the bingo games!!
