Theres no specific food/bait bro. Mahseers are omivores they eat everything. Main thing in fishing is presentation, technique and some luck 😀

The live bait you were using is way too big to catch anything. You should have used something half that size.

Its was for a goonch catfish . That pool has some huge monsters .. were talking 7-10ft , 100-150 kilos or more.... people here use even bigger baits. So i dont think that was too big ..
