Listening to your passion of brewing reminds me of having a child. You are so excited when they are born and watching them grow hoping you did it right, and when they are grown you are so proud of what you did to get them there. Don

Ive been waiting for this video. What a experience. Your employees are so fortunate to be able to experience this kind of trip. Cant wait to see what kind of inspiration comes from it. I know for me watching this I want to now make a Pilsner-esk beer with galaxy hops flowing out of it.

It's the Bass Strait you cross, the Tasman Sea takes you to New Zealand 😉 hope you enjoyed your time in our little state, Hobart is a cool little city, heaps of great produce and some awesome breweries! As a homebrewer I wish HPA sold direct though, would love access to the same fresh hops pro breweries get to use, oh well! 🤣🍺👍

That is a most impressive hop farm. Are the US farms that consolidated or do the Aussies have a special thing going on. Lastly, do you think the US is capable of producing enough hops for the US brewers?

Great video tour. I am a Euro beer lover -- old world style brewing will always be the most beneficial for me. Hops has been used as a bitter for many, many years. However, it should not overpower the barley, and I'm sad to say that I believe this newer style of brewing is less healthy for a lot of folks. In my best of all possible worlds, I would love to see the more Euro monks' style of using different types of herbs to flavor the beer. An esp healthy herb to replace hops with would be the different Artemisia species, which would impart a nice bitterness, and have a similar relaxing effect like hops. Again, I believe Artemisia would be more healthy for most folks, rather than hops. ♥️🏋️💜
