My first white tail on Mississippi was with a bow when i was camping out for a alligator at a resting zone but as i was looking down my tree stand a white tail stood below me busy traveling to its designated zone 🤣🤣😅

Regarding the fact that people get annoyed that people will hunt deer, there are over 65 million white tails in the US alone, and that amount of deer can wreak havoc on the ecosystem. Hunting deer is fine, hunting predators is not

The logic is that a human theoretically has the same ability to defend itself as the attacker, so it's more 'fair' to hunt humans. And then, for some reason, they equate actions in game to actions in real life. Which... isn't true whatsoever in either case since most humans can't defend themself from an attacker of any kind; knife wielding, gun wielding, whatever. And obviously, people die if they're killed in real life *Activate Meme*; but they respawn if they just respawn in games.

To equate shooting someone in a FPS game to hunting a living animal is a false equivalence fallacy. There is a significant difference in killing a living being and "killing" a character in a game. It is my personal opinion that if you are using the meat/ prey you are hunting then it's okay. Hunting for fun is wrong. That's just my my opinion and I can understand why someone would have opinions that differ from mine 🙃

It's a pretty common hunting technique, killing larger animals with a headshot. Where I live it's called a "ready to cook" shot. The animal is instantly dead too, but you get clean meat without any pieces of splintered bones, pellets or bullet fragments to worry about. Stay foxy.

I have mixed feelings. I'm not all that fond of hunting games, but then...it's just that...a GAME. I'd prefer people do their hunting in a simulated situation like this, rather than in real life, but it's not my place to tell someone how to live their life. I just hope that when they do hunt for real, they try to do so sustainably, and preferably not take the biggest and the best, because that degrades the population. And also not hunt something that's endangered. Also, it would be nice if there was a "hunting" game that was only with a camera, for those of us that prefer to live and let live.

Also, at least in some regions, deer are pests due to their populations exploding due to the decimation of predator populations. They destroy ecosystems by eating all the underbrush.

You can value the life of an animal, but also provide for your family. Be thankful for the animal losing its life so that you can eat. The problem is with the people who find it funny and take pleasure in taking the lives of animals, and do it for trophy purposes; to hang a dead animal on their wall. That’s just messed up to me. To turn a living creature into a decoration.

My grandpa taught me how to hunt deer. The best way is to stay out of there smell range. Basically get above the deer on deer stands.

I think it's really cool that you hunt to feed your family. I just prefer not to hunt just because it isn't necessary for me so personally I'd just prefer not to. An the thing about the video game, I totally agree people too busy feeling bad for other people/things that either they don't have a part in or are just completely oblivious. People can have opinions and people can share those opinions, but sharing you opinion shouldn't automatically give people the right to bash them for thinking/believing that.
