Kelly is truly the teacher at heart: engage the adventure into a lesson about birds, respect for the environment, remember to pack out the trash. She's always so cheerful and full of positivity. The family is so cohesive in sharing the experiences in Alaska ; and learning to live off the land. Alan is the man to share the Alaska experience. Would love his recipe for the marinade.

Your family need warm clothes and gloves hats and scarf to come for winter. I hear it's really snow up in Alaska. Your family will see the snow when it come. Also make sure your family have enough food in. Once the snow come there. The roads are hard to drive in with the snow. And also make sure your family have good stuff for the winter. Check the windows downstairs in each bedroom and make sure the windows are OK for the winter with snow. Do you have a shove for the sidewalk and maybe look for some rock salt for your stairs and sidewalk to help with the clear it. Barb Vancouver BC We get lot of snow down here. And it's hard to move around here.
@BagsPackedFamily2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your thoughtful advice, Barb! We’re definitely gearing up for winter with plenty of warm clothes, hats, gloves, and scarves-it’ll be our first real Alaskan winter, and we’re excited to see all that snow when it comes. ❄️ We’ll also make sure to stock up on food and supplies, just in case the roads get tricky. Thanks for the reminder about checking the windows-we want to stay cozy inside when the snow piles up! And yes, we’re planning to get a good snow shovel and some rock salt to keep the sidewalks clear and safe. Stay warm over in Vancouver! It sounds like you know exactly what we’re about to experience. 😊
