At 62 that hard tail would not work for me. But man, what a solid bike.

I like apes that are shoulder height and pointed straight up. I like the low speed handling characteristics of apes.They give you tremendous leverage. For an around town bar hopper, apes rule. This bike......uhhhhh no.....those suck. i would have them off so fast. Having bars shoved back at you like that makes a bike handle like shit.

I can't imagine driving more than 10 miles on that. I know comfort is not what that bikes about. . you definately have the badass look and feel....also, wear a flat black helmet.

No, it is the mass exportation of these machines out of the USA that has raised prices. Japan owns around 95 percent of Harley production between 36 and 84. People put them up for sale. Cheap Americans say too much. Someone from another country says I'll take it, how many more you got?
@shawnmartins1695 жыл бұрын
@@HuntingHarleys with all due respect when you say the Japanese 90% that's no secret but I can't help to think you're going the way of the Indian you're selling America off piece-by-piece now I know you're making a living out of it my hat's off to you for that but it's sad that America's history is slowly being owned by another culture because of guys that have figured out they can make a living selling America history piece by piece now I'm not trying to piss you off it's a tough pill to swallow and I'm sure you're sleeping fine well I guess that's business for you I still enjoy watching your videos and often wonder some of the things that you come across how you come across it at least we'll have the videos to watch after it's all gone keep up the good work

Hay Todd what do you know about a Jammer Velvet Ride with a 78 shovelhead in it. If you type it in it will come up I here it is rare but thinking of dropping motor into Paughco frame.
@HuntingHarleys5 жыл бұрын
I recall those being sold, but under another name which is eluding me at present. Not many around I would imagine. All depends on if you like the bouncing and kidney damage of a hard tail or not.

. hey there. new rider here. is it normal for those old bikes to blow smoke ? saw some blue smoke when he took off first time down the road?
@HuntingHarleys9 жыл бұрын
yes and no. This can be a sign that the bike has not been ridden in sometime and the rings have to re seat. It can also be a sign that the top end is showing signs of age and wear. Blue smoke means oil burning, the question is WHY

With Lil warm-up time, He probably richend it up to go warm it up. If I takeoff with the choke on a little bit when it’s cold, it runs better. But I always warm it up. AK.

@HuntingHarleys9 жыл бұрын
prices, due to the internet, are the same anywhere in the USA. That, and most bikes are no longer in the USA. I lost money on this one. It all depends on the moment and situation, prices can fluctuate rapidly also.
