I'm not a fan of baggers but the 69 FLH is My most favorite bagger such a sweet ride..Back in the day a lot of Guys round My way Lake Ontario the Steel City You seen a lot of these slab sides around when they got tired of the big bagger the would chop them down..They all came from Pooles HD on Parkdale Ave...Great vid Todd

Fucking awesome! I watched and then more importantly (at least to me anyway) APPLIED THE KNOWLEDGE of the 4 speed clutch video. It worked like a charm on mine.................that's one nice scoot man! Of course it ain't cheap nor should it be!

they never stop spitting completely, just less. But yes, less spitting means more warmed up

I have a 1966 XLH and the Tillotson (upgraded to a D spec) never spits. Wonder why they do it on your big twins.

Why i don't here any disturbing noise when you active the clutch.....is it because it is an hydraulic clutch?

no, the "disturbing noise" from clutches happens when they are worn out and people ride worn out clutches. This one is in good shape, but not put together as nice as I like (it needs cleaning). watch my 4 speed clutch video. I explain it

Thank you so much for answering me so fast, it's really nice.... I have been owning an FLH 1970 and now i have a Panhead 48....both were doing a high pitched sound when i active the clutch....i was told that it's normal, just because it's antic Harley and old vintage Harley do that... Thank you again for this advise...yes i am going to watch your video and change my clutch for a new one.....do you suggest one brand in particular? or just a stock one? Last question, are you planning to sell your FLH one day? because i want to buy an early Shovel instead a late, and year 69 is my birthdate so...:)

yes, this FLH is for sale. Nearly any bike I put on the youtube is for sale. Price $16,000 email for good pix [e-mail] I personally like the stock clutches with a 5 finger hub. Who is making good clutch plates today, I cannot say.

HuntingHarleys In early 1970, I bought a 1969 FLH, bagger, just like this one, with 1400 miles on her. She had that titty pink color that H-D liked at that time. I took it from the H-D showroom floor for the price of $2,500 . My oh my, folks sure like to jack up prices anymore... Folks do love that old iron tho, I know I do....

only the FL / FLH body style. The FX body style used 3.5 gallon tanks or a 3 gallon FXE style tank

What year did they use 5 gal tanks ?

1965, the Electraglide, was the last year Panhead, and 1st year for the electric start on the big twin and 5 gallon tanks. 1971 saw the 1st big twin offered with a skinny fork, basically a Sportster fork with a i inch neck stem instead of 7/8 of an inch, the FX. Today, we refer to the big full fender bikes of the 1965-1984 period that are 4 speeds as an FLH. Although HD did offer other models in the FL line then just the FLH. They ALL had 5 gallon tanks in this time period.

I was being sarcastic, you wouldn't want my bike, its a 1975 FLH with all the JP cycles you could ask for. Sure, it looks nice but there hasn't been an inch of my bike that hasn't been molested!
