Beautiful, I love these chunky and hardy vintage motorcycles, especially the thick tires. Would love to pick up a similar Harley or an old BSA.

My best friend’s brother was president of the Grim Reapers. This could be his bike, it’s that similar. When i was 17, still in high school, i ask him if i could ride it around the neighborhood. He said i could, IF i could get it started. He told me how. What to do and what not to do. The first Harley i ever rode. Been in love ever since. I have a 16’ Road King, love it just as much. Except, IT IS MINE. Thanks for the vid. Good times. Then & now.

Best YT random recommendation ever. I love the vids and I love the bikes. I had a neighbor growing up who would build knuckleheads in the old wishbones and pan heads, etc. I learned a lot and gained a great appreciation of those old bikes. Thanks for doing what you do. I also enjoyed the old bobber video.

Damn good lookin bike. Been collecting parts for my 47 ever since my buddy sold me a set of large port heads in 2006. I’m getting close to having it done,just gotta get off my ass and finish welding my replacement sidecar loops then paint. Got a 3 speed and reverse gear set and drum and a 4 speed gear set with the shift drum and still not sure which way I wanna go. Have to hop on this channel every once in a while for my knucklehead fix to get me by,lol. Awesome job with the channel btw and I hope that you’re able to get your garage and inventory situation hemmed up soon. Keep up the great work. 👍

@Shane J they sure are fun bikes to ride an very reliable. Can't wait to get my 68' Commando back together they are such a smooth bike to ride. The 650ss I use as a daily is alot more raw in a fun way but the chassis being a slimline Featherbed is sublime even compared to modern stuff I've had. Restoring a ww2 Norton at the mo. Keep looking at Harley J's at the moment :)

I always liked seeing the old late 1940's crime movies with the police Harley motorcycles and officers in their uniforms, gloves and caps either kick starting or riding them in hot pursuit of the crooks. I had toy motorcycles in the mid 1950's that look just like Todd's

@jameslanning84053 жыл бұрын
Out of all the Harley designs, I think the Knuckle is the most aesthetically pleasing... It's a rolling work of mechanical art! And all the scratches, dust and wear on that old Knuckle, just adds to its character!. I see you have 2 Knuckles there... Feel like you want to give one away? LOL The only real problem you'll have with an old machine like that... HD doesn't want to support them any more... The old bikes and old bikers, are being systematically weeded out of the HD line up. Catering to Millennials is they way the corporate HD is moving...
@ricpowers14753 жыл бұрын
Theres a 1940 something harley in my neighborhood that was parked between two small trees at the beginning of ww2. Those trees grew into much larger trees and have nearly swallowed the bike whole. Love to have the time lapse. Wouldnt THAT be the ultimate restoration!
@ricpowers14753 жыл бұрын
@Shane J I wonder if the skill exists to free that bike and breath new life into it. Probably too far gone. crazy how the tree has swallowed it, as if it was poured over the bike
@ricpowers14753 жыл бұрын
@Shane J Definitly tree must go. But i think what the tree has swallowed would be pristine being shielded from the elements for so long. Anybody with deep pockets up for a challenge out there? The 90 year old vet would be tickled pink.
