Beautiful Road King. I like the pre-2014 styling much better. I never really rode one but around the parking lot, but I love the look. Love my '04 Fat Boy but kicking myself for not buying something like this.

Those rear yellows aren't supposed to be lit these years unless someone installed an inline aftermarket run/stop/turn module. At which time thows yellow pancakes should've been switched to reds. Fender tip light is likley just the bulb.

@TKO-NY in California, headlight(s) no more then 2, and running lights, have to be on 24 hours a day. Assuming the motorcycle is made after 1978. I looked it up

@@HuntingHarleys try googling "Rear Amber Running Lights Motorcycle California", just like that. "Amber" has been my focus on the rear lights. If the rear signals are working, there's nothing wrong with them whatsoever.

I remember when Harley Davidson motorcycles did nothing but go up in value... And I don't know as much about them as you do.... My question is why do all these big bikes,( What I call anything bigger than a sportster) From like the year 2000 and up to almost current.... Why are they anywhere from $3500 $7000 But an '82 shovel as or a '77 shovel head goes for 10 or $12,000 In clean condition of course. Is it because the product just isn't what it was or is it because they've manufactured them like They build cars nowadays, Throw aways?

The production numbers has something to do with that too. My 73' FLH shovelhead, that has been in my possession since 2002, they made 7750 units of them. And FX models have same kind of production numbers. I have also a 01' Roadking. Not sure how much they made them, but if i remember right they made around 65K touring models in that year.

@@HuntingHarleys Well, mine has left a long time ago too. I live in Finland. We got some shovels in here, but i agree that the most of them are in Japan. Its easier to find a Roadking here for sale, than a shovel.
