You can focus attack Rey Dau's head when it goes into a cooldown animation after a huge lightning strike attack. Cool extra punish window you get if you can position close to it when it does those huge attacks.

I can't play the beta (I lack a ps5 and my PC almost died from attempting to run it) but from what I have been told and from what I can tell: this is the most technical the Hunting Horn has ever been. It seems to be using the upgrade it got from World mixed with the hyper-aggressive playstyle from Rise. I like the idea of timing notes with the animation and being able to "hold" the Off-swing attack in order to aim and time it better. Doot hard for me fellow Hunters, and may your Melodies bring you great bounty.

HH have always been in my heart, it's my main with thousands of hrs on it.. always love how its support works. I Have not yet try mhwild beta yet and hoping to feel fresh when the game launch , hope u had super fun with the HH DOOTS UP BOYS.

Only thing I can add is just rhythm game the recital button at the end of every song (when you flash), to do extra attacks and just goes straight into encore after last song without having to hit the encore input.

It honestly took me a few attempts to cope with all the HH changes but I'm kinda loving it. I think DBs might be my main weapon in wilds but I will definitely be using Horn on blunt weak targets, or targets with tails too tall to swipe at.

Love the new HH specially the rhythm mini game in performance mode hitting the timing adds even more damage

@@GiddyFoxGaming after learning it I got so much more flinches and knock downs. Similar thing when hitting your focus attack you can press it fight times and get bonus damage for hitting the Rhythm timings.

I like what they did with it. I prefer world hunting horn over rise. This one has even more to manage and I kind of like that making an in-depth weapon

In every MH HH have a cancel animation move/combo to make doot pop faster hope HMWild have it too

@Giddy Fox Gaming btw when the monster is about to run to a new area shoot it with a luring pod to keep it in that area allowing you to get faster hunt times

Seeing all the fancy new moves/toys the other weapons have gotten makes me kinda regret picking this game to be the one I learn the bowguns in. Only tried LBG so far and all it has that I've noticed is an extra follow-up shot, more consistent rapidfire options, and a new bullet for wounds. Probably good functionally but not as flashy as what everything else is getting.

Its somehow also the easiest to use! Might be cause am new to PC but all the buttons are very close to eachother and there are only like 5. All i don’t know what to do is how to turn when making the music. Oh well. Also with rey dau using the bottom one with (blunt) in it is nice since you can break its armor and horns easier then.
