Love the ceremony, the last bite for the rams, etc. of European hunting, wish you would have shown more of that.

What were the cm measurements for the two mouflon if you don't mind me asking. Just curious as I'm considering a hunt and I know they cost based on size. Looks like a fun hunt and great trophies regardless of size.

With the development of hunting, hunting circles of almost all nations developed various hunting principles, manners, customs and customs, which were traditionally passed on from generation to generation. Only ever took photographs....but what you say makes sense . Guessing there is no SPORT in shooting a resting animal 🤔

So if the ram has simply stood up, it would suddenly become “sporting” again? I think the challenge is simply finding an old specimen & connecting with a bullet. But we don’t hunt for “sport”, we hunt to harvest - by whatever legal & ethical means necessary. It’s not a sport. It’s a hunt. Thank you.

We will be going to Czech in the spring. Haven’t found much information on what there is for hunting in the spring time. And can I hunt with a compound bow instead of a rifle. Can foreigners do a DIY hunt without guides?

In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, roe deer are hunted in spring (in the Czech Republic from 1 May, in Slovakia from 16 May). Wild boar is also hunted all year round for the time being. Other trophy game has hunting times later. Bow hunting is not yet commonly allowed in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, except in game reserves where it can be. Rifle hunting is allowed. No guest usually can hunt alone but only with a guide, perhaps in a private game area where the owner sets his own rules.
