@@wilburwilbur4195 thank you so much for subscribing! This wreck is close to the Gulf Stream but yes the visibility is usually very good on this wreck. You can find a large variety of reef fish and pelagics here along with scamp and grouper.

I had Lionfish pizza in Cozumel a couple years back. Surprisingly good! Very buttery and mild taste. BTW how far is this wreck from Charleston by dive boat? Didn't know it existed.

@@imstillatit9813 that does that really good! The Comanche is about 40 miles offshore from Charleston.

Where are these Lionfish eggs, can't they have thousands of little fish in one year? Sure, spearing them are great but let's say the 2 fish you've speared just spawned 10,000, then what?

That is a really good point. We do not really know which marine animal eats the Lionfish eggs, we at least think that’s how their numbers are kept in check in the IndioPacific. Hopefully, with more research we will be able to find the answer to this question so that we can also find a more long term solution. But for now the best thing we can do as divers is clean them up whenever we see them.

I feel as if the ropes down there should be removed…

We get groups of divers together for National dive against debris day to remove trash from our dive sites, we also clean up every time we dive but it is hard to keep up!
Hunting for Lionfish in Dania Beach were we successful? Yes.
