@@LiquidAntler I’ve been going there for a number of years now but mainly in the summer. I went there in the roar couple of years ago…. Weather was similar!

Do you just shoot the deers then take the heads? How much meat off them do you take cause it looked like your just left it without taking much.. Also do you cook up any the meat while camping?
@LiquidAntler2 жыл бұрын
No boned out the meat and hung it in a tree. The meat just kept as the stag was shot on day 2. Processed and gave it to my parents.

@@LiquidAntler would you go back to that block mate? I’ve been looking at that particular block for years… Would water be an issue if if were periods of fine weather? I was specifically looking @ spring/ summer.

@@greghughson7450 digging up this old thread as I just found this video. There is water at least there, next to an old bivvy site maps.app.goo.gl/sJwhPTHpnLVBAF6u8 It's close to where these guys (and my crew) camped.

Can't understand why you were hunting that sour tops country as there is no feed there. Should have been lower in the Beech forest. You were not given good advice for sure. Stags can't grow antlers on that crap feed.

Hey mate was a last minute decision to chase sika. Not all about big heads but exploring new country and spending time with mates.
