Good to see you posting again . The big chunk of iron looks like part of a stove. Good to see the feral kids interested in it , for a few minutes .

Another great vlog Clear up some storm damage that was a pretty wild looking ice storm broke trees right in half, a little bit of shooting Some treasure hunting with the wife Bo running around hunting that scene was definitely comical hopefully he is a better watchdog or at least keeps your feet warm but definitely Man's best friend Looking forward to the next 1 till then god bless

If it has warts that's definitely a Hackberry tree. When they get mature (4 to 6 feet diameter at the bottom) the bark starts to look like concrete.

That's what I thought. Good tip on the concrete look - that's easy to remember.

@@TexasJAGD Too bad the ice storm got it, they typically live well over 100 years. They get absolutely massive. Not Redwood massive but still huge.

I hope you have a wood stove out there to put some of the fallen trees to good use. I purchased My first Thermal Scope one that was in My budget a Pulsar XQ 38 don't have it mounted yet I just got it. Glad to see you back on KZbin with video's. I have 2 Minelab detectors 1 for relics and 1 that's for Gold I go out all the time here in Nevada using them.

We do have a wood burning fireplace and we use it as much as we can. Stacked up quite a bit of firewood. We should be good for a few years! More videos to come soon!

Liking the variety here, makes me want to get a metal detector now. I wonder if that piece of metal was some kind of old container, for oil or maybe pesticides.

That metal detector is fun for sure. I couldn't quite figure out what that part was. The depth of it was interesting too. Definitely will keep looking for stuff. Need to find me a revolver from the 1850s :)

That thing is sitting way too high. Do they offer any mounts to bring it closer to the rail?

Why would you shoot a bobcat?
@TexasJAGD
@TexasJAGD Жыл бұрын
We're trying to restore an upland bird population by creating a suitable habitat and good food sources. We released 30 quail. Seemingly none survived. A bobcat also killed 3 of our ducks. And 1 Guinea. There are too many predators in this area. Predator control is part of our wildlife management plan.

Brother, get some chaps before you run a saw again. I grew up In the woods of Vermont, became a physician assistant and have excised my share of chainsaw lacerations! PLEASE get chaps and NEVER start the saw if intending to cut without them on!

You need to find someone who can look at a hunk of rusted metal and tell you what tool it was and more importantly - what year it is from ... or ask your buddy, Gary, if you can use his buddy up in NS LOL Could it be that the Knights Templar also made it to Texas? Legend says that one more person must die before the treasure can be found - I keep hoping that the person will be Gary.
