Great video! It took a long time for me to learn this, but you have nailed it. First the initial hunts for me, even after all these years are like a dress rehearsal, getting back in the groove, making sure I am ready to go. Just Last night, opening day of bow season, I left my bino/rangefinder case at home. Second, unless I have a big buck patterned I always start with stands that are on the edges and where I can observe deer movement without them knowing I am hunting. The goal is that, Over time as crops are harvested and hunters educate deer on their properties more deer will spend more daylight time on mine.
