Hi. So how loud is the 505 compared to others in its class? One video said it was 106db. Can it be quieted down anymore with those rubber type silencers or is it already equipped with them. Also, is a pass through more desirable than the boot just getting stuck in them? I’m new at this. Thanks

It's as quiet as you can expect with that speed and the pass throughs are unreal and so fast they are hard to see.

Man that was a crazy shot! Deer have that very high survive drive so even with such a good shot it made some distant Cheers man also Im sure that dog felt proud to help find that Buck haha

The shot looked like a perfect heart shot. Maybe the bottom of the heart. Basedon the hair displacement from the shot, I cannot be convinced that it was a liver shot. The deer looked about 20 yards away. Is it possible, at that distance, coupled with the speed of the bow, that the arrow blew through the deer before the mechanical broad had time to deploy?

On the video it looks good and further to the front but if we've learned anything over the years is the camera angle and what you think you see and where it actually hit are often different. In this case we all thought like you it was a perfect bottom of heart but after finding the deer the hit wasn't where we thought it was. We made a classic mistake in tracking this buck by starting too soon and jumping the buck and then the long track began. The broadheads we've been using havn't failed us.

@@AmericanaOutdoors1 on this video I saw your shot and it had a lighted knock. I’m assuming it was a demo. I actually talked to a sales rep with ten point a few weeks ago and he said they will be coming out for the 505 sometime this month.

I like the speed but 300 lb limbs are to loud and twangy or me on any crossbow. I have a reverse draw 145 lb limbs with a 18 inch power stroke shooting 400 fps. It's quiet fast and affordable. I shouldn't have to get a loan and ear plugs to move up to 500 fps. Lol Im not going to do it.

True. With 400 or 500fps you will get complete pass throughs on small to medium game at these distances.
