You guys are for sure my favourite sailing channel. Your videos are entertaining but not over done. Whilst it may suck you guys have to go back and work. I think it's really cool and inspiring to see you can live this cruising lifestyle by the same means as us regular land dwelling folk. Looking forward to see what's next !

Thanks Jordan, that is too kind! Yes we both enjoy our jobs so it makes it easy. We know a lot of cruisers who work seasonally also, they don’t tend to make videos though otherwise they’d have no time 🤣🤣🤣

Hi guys, you always leave me yearning to visit these wonderful remote reefs (maybe one day soon) Everyone does this different....you sir are certainly doing it the hard way, you might want to up your coconut game, using a bit of old webbing loop, rope or even tying a sarong (can also weave a makeshift fibre rope from stripped coconut frond) looped around your feet will provide a massive increase in your foot grip when climbing coconut trees like that. It allows you to effortlessly impart grip acting as a fulcrum point at your ankles rather than relying on your hips and thighs. Makes going up and down so much easier. Also you can strip a bit of coconut fibre from the husk (leaving one end attached to the husk, the other end loose tail) and tie coconuts together, balance them on both ends of a pole ( driftwood stick) helps carry your well earned bounty back to the boat using nothing but the beach harvest.

😂😂😂😂 yes we like to do things the hard way 🤪 having lived in the pacific for two years you’d think we’d have the hang of it lol. They use sarongs (lava lavas) in a figure 8 like you mentioned. I fear Michael may lack the coordination to pull that off 😂 maybe next time 😆
@bunyipdan

@@sailingpopao I don’t know ....... I reckon Micheal could pull off wearing a lava lava (very versatile, underrated garment, could even have a coconut climbing sarong in your merch catalogue ...... now that might encourage him to give one a go)

Sorry that you have to go back to work. The format isn't working to get the viewers that you need, pherhaps it's time for a change and include more visits to places on shore. I like the cooking segments and using the pots to catch crab. To me this was just another jump in the sea video. Meeting up with other sailing vessels was good.

Thanks for the feedback Quarterback, def need to get more confident whipping out the camera in front of people. We also both like our jobs too so it’s easy for us to pop back to work occasionally rather than making videos we hate just to feed the algorithm monster😝
