Thanks to Cole from GA for helping HTF. Seems like a real positive guy. The dirt looked like Knoxville in Iowa which is dense and has a lot of grip. I’d guess Joseph has never run on a surface like this so it is a big learning curve.

This was a learning experience for Joseph. The more experience on you get on different type of tracks the better you will become. Proud of the entire HTF crew.

@@Masterchef1989 Don’t get me wrong I think Joseph is a awesome driver but they need to either go big or go home. They have spent more money on trailers and shop and 2 other cars to go win small shows with 8 car fields for $2000 to win. I’m sure they make enough on KZbin alone to get a better motor but they are convinced that small motor is enough based on hometown success. Maybe they need to sell the 3rd car buy 2 big motors are let Jesse run some super late model races in the 1 car too. Start focusing on bigger races and better motors. I think Jesse could be a top notch driver that could land some huge sponsorship with his personality but they need a manager to get that going.

In October I lost my Gopro during the 250 Lap Goblin Enduro @ rockford speedway in a lap 15 turn 1 accident. The Gopro laid on the track until after the race and we walked the track and found it on the back stretch and it looked just like your Gopro.

Facts my friend 1...There was over 74 cars 2....They Broke qualifying down to two (group 1) and (Group 2) 3....Joseph qualified 33 rd in his group ..but he qualified in the high 60 ish combined times 4.....There was 4 Show down features (heat races) there was 19 cars in a Feature he stared not not quite last and came to 13rd out 19 cars so he picked up 6 spots in his Show down so.....All of this was Friday night. Saturday 1...With his 13 place finish Friday in his show down #1 he was relegated to a B main or last chance race that takes the TOP 2 finishers. 2...Joseph finished 15th (13 spots) from making the main. 3...There was a $2500 to win non Qualifiers race which Joseph didn't Qualify for due to his poor finish in his B main( they took the top 9 ) Joseph missed that also. Moral of the story is don't take a knife to a gun fight Which they totally did and the big boys don't play.

Even though the finish didn't show it Joseph showed spirts of being fast and able to compete. Keep plugin away learn all you can you have the car , driver and crew to get the job done. Personally I thought Jo Jo did well for first time at a track and going up against drivers and cars that have been there many times.

Ok. All my opinion. First: You guys got a crap draw. Whoever Drew shouldn’t ever get to draw again! Lol Second: It looked like Joseph got moving good, then that caution came out and he got stuck in a bunch of junk on the bottom and that really hurt. Third: I’d bring Cole with me as often as I could. He seems like he has a lot of crew chief type of ability. He could really help Jesse too. Fourth: Joshua did a real good job. Jonathan better get well before he loses his job! Hahaha Fifth: You should put Joseph’s new nickname on the car. The WoO announcer kept calling him “ The Sandman” It was awesome!

Yep, he was turning wrenches on his car that night at the national 100 that Joseph won last year. Race were Parker spun out the leader (Jason Hewitt IIRC) going into the final turn on the last lap. You can see him wearing a P. Martin shirt in the video.

Cole seemed to set up cars a little different from what HTF usually do. One clip he tells Joseph that this change will give more mechanical grip. Once he hit the top of his heat he was going forward. Was impressed.
