Jesse, ya put the car back on the trailer with the same number of parts on it that it started the night with. You're racing older tech, on older tires, with a budget a fraction of that of the guys that show up to the race towing semi trailers do. Somedays, 15th is the best _anyone_ could've pulled outta that set of circumstances. It's your 4th late model race ever, 2nd time at that track. You're doing fine, you're right on the learning curve where you should be. Ya ain't wrecking, ya ain't breaking shit, you're gaining car control every week. Smile, man. :)

Man during the video you couldn’t slap the grin off my face!!! Best racing yet I seen this year. Joseph & Bo was the show, Jesse & DD done a heck of a job. Jesse needs to quit being so hard on himself, you’re there for fun my friend. You’re young into your many to come race career, you’re not gonna slide into that seat right now & drive like Joseph or Bo or Jonathan. It takes time behind the wheel, main thing is you’re running consistently every lap, you’re making every race, you’re putting the car back into the hauler with every part on it that it went on the track with. That was awesome!!! Oh, DD a bit tight -- tough to drive for sure, but have faith that he knows what it needs. Joseph was just testing come to find out. And so that leads to Jesse (get your head up bud! - the sun is always shining so keep looking up!)... which come to find out....... He was testing too!!! So, conclusions --- After a night of testing and afterthought, tonight is gonna be a different story. So good! Oh, and a shout out to Bo ... I'm sure he found that he was testing too. Be Safe

Well Jesse if it's any consolation I've been racing for 30 plus years and started binge watching HUNT THE FRONT videos of y'all's yesterday seen the one where you was practicing for the first time and my honest opinion is you did good even in this race I can tell you are getting the hang of it,these late models are beasts tons of power on the verge of wrecking every turn then add traffic and it can be nerve racking,but you are staying on the throttle and racing, all of y'all are excellent driver's but you being new your doing good

Nice work both of you. Jesse I know how bummed you feel because I've been there in a few different disciplines of racing, superbikes, motocross, and karting. It took me at least two seasons with each to become comfortable and not be a back marker! Keep going man. You'll be up there before too long.

Jesse! I know it can be discouraging sometimes, but you still ran a darn-good race! The car came off the track in one piece and he didn't wreck it. A 15th place finish is better than no finish at all! I'm exited to continue to see Jesse race. I think he's gonna get better and better with each passing night! Might take him a season to fully get used to the late model, but when he does, look out! Good night at the track, I'd say.

Ill never be able to afford to buy my own car and even though my brother races, I wont get my opportunity until I can afford it. You need to remember that you have fans rooting for ya, and some of us are living vicariously through you, so to speak. I wouldn't care if I went out and finished last, I got to race. Remember that, some of us out here don't get the same opportunity. You're getting better.

Tell him he's lucky to just be there and be driving a bad a** car. Tell him he'll do better the next night. That tonight's race was just practice for the big race tomorrow night lol. Racing is a game you just go with the flow improve as you go learn from your mistakes while also learning from the things you done right. One day it will come to you and you will be a top contender. Jesse when starting out it is more important to learn than to win. Take your time to learn what works and what does not. Put in the laps and just take it easy enjoy every lap but after you are done thinking about 2 things you did right and 1 that you can change for the next race. BTW finishing with all parts intact is a thing you do right.

I don't know it was kinda crowded out there every time i hit the go button someone would pull down or up on me . Jessie your right it was crowded out there and you were doing a fine job man . Just did not have any where to go they were all over the track . Then there was the Joseph and Bo slide job show lol . man you are fast . When the room was there and folks wernt getting in the way you were airing it out . Fine performance by both of you . And yeah you don't lift that's great man . Jesse keep digging buddie. You'er doing just fine there. I have been around racing since 1959 and built cars and been crew chief on cars over 40 years so I know what I am talking about. You'er doing good and you will be a very good driver if you keep going. I remember the first time I drove a dirt car i hot laps. I though I was going the fastest ever seen at the track and about then three or four cars past me so fast I thought my car had stopped. Then I noticed they were the also ran cars. So hang in there you will be one of the fast guys soon.

Jeese needs to race at the track he’s most familiar, Southern Raceway. Once he can consistently finish in the top 5 , then go to different tracks. He needs to get comfortable in the car, which he is not at this time. Bo Slay has got your number, it’s like he’s on a mission to finish ahead of HTF.

Hey Jonathan, Not to harp or nothing, but a school teacher needs to make him a spread sheet for each car and trailer, laminate it and stick it on each one with a dry erase pen. That way you won't forget something that could have potentially lost you some big money had the time been right. Come on John, set a good example for your students now. Otherwise if you don't, those assignments are going to start to look awfully light in the future, when they forget to include all the points the teacher requests, if you know what I mean!
