Hurley said this at the beginning of this season, this team is not like last season. Maybe the emphasis is to use the 11 deep roster to compensate for the lack of specific, specific specialists on the floor at one time. And after 4 games I see his point. Something else I’ve noticed is since the announcement of the deep 5 star recruits coming next season; I’ve noticed a little cautiousness or concern from this team. If I was a player I might be concerned about all of these top prospects coming in when there’s not much room for all of them????? Could be/ maybe????

Glenn, will all due respect, players at elite levels dont' think about what's going to happen next year when they're fighting for minutes and to be the best players they can be. That's stuff fans think about so you start to think they know what the players are thinking too.

Unfortunately, most of our players are not staying in front of their opponents. This squad is deficient in lateral movement. They’re reaching, getting beat off the dribble, then reaching or switching players are over covering making silly fouls. If you’ve watched all 4 games, every UConn player is getting beat off the dribble.

Generally, I have no problem with Hurley or any coach complaining about the refs. That said, complaining about calls after a bye game is useless. Nobody (including the refs) is paying attention. And, if anything, you’re just annoying people you don’t want to be annoying.

Well if they keep it up in the big games those silly fouls will kill us come on we as back to back CHAMPS should not be getting those stupid fouls
