I MEAN I was definitely right about this, I loved the show and I am completely in love with this now that I know the inner workings of these two. This song is just so *them*, you're unique at choosing just the right song for the atmosphere of a show. AND THE RAW CUTS AND PARALLELS TOWARDS THE END WITH THE TOUCHING??? OKAY SO I AM HERE BUT I AM NOT, I AM PHYSICALLY HERE BUT HAVE ASCENDED TO ANOTHER LEVEL OF EMOTION. u know. the way that you took the aesthetic of this show and just highlighted it with this song and created THIS FUCKING ATMOSPHERE like it is just beautiful, honestly probably my favorite video from you ever tbh? at least in how you utilized the cinematography and scene selection? and i know you and i have constantly discussed this and how difficult it is for editing but yasmin you fucking NAILED their dynamic, i am literally in awe. i'd be able to watch this video with no background info for them and still ~understand~ them and that is a goddamn gift as an editor let me tell you. i'm just so in love with the quiet moments you latched onto here, especially the slo-mo parts of the show you captured to fit the music and the tone of their relationship. also just the general "it'll come right back to you" is so fucking NIIIIIIIIICE like that is them in a nutshell, they're always going to come back to each other, whether it be physical (the tow truck and the ENDING with him at her door) or even metaphorical (her dreams of him and just the fact that they're literally always on each other's minds UGH fuck me uppp!!!). i'm honestly just in awe, like you're one of my favorite editors ever and you're always on a pedestal to me but you just once again lapped yourself? idek how you keep getting better but U DO. bless you for the shout out, i am alive because of you and this video and the shared trashcans we continually fall into together

MY HEART WAS NOT READY. These two have snatched my soul in an unexpected way and your description perfectly describes why. I didn't even know you were vidding these two so this was such a pleasant surprise to end the night with! Your vid perfectly shows how perfect this song is for their complex dynamic. I LOOOOVE that you integrated the gorgeous cinematography because that was something that immediately pulled me in and really speaks to the clever direction of this show. all those parallel shots towards the end,.,,WOAH! this is art in motion..i'm so glad you brought out one of the many best aspects of the series ...THE CINEMATOGRAPHY..it played such an important part in the video...and the dialogue you used..about her being a thief and him a contract killer..also the one between her son and mother,,,that no matter her faults,he still loves her..and vice versa for that matter...AND AND...ther moments towards end where you used their scenes of lust and passion at first then it became more gentle and personal with the kisses and hand touches..just like their RL! im on the floor...THIS IS BLOODY BRILLIANT!

Rambling comment in 3, 2, 1 .... Ok first of all, damn all that cinematography got me Shook. The way you matched her blowing the cigarette (??) smoke with the music at 0:13 bye???? The really intense personal close ups of both Javier and Letty like i feel like I'm invading thier personal space and you just add to that tension with clean cut editing and matching it to the beats of the song Also, holy fuck your clean as fuck voiceovers i am SHOOK The internal movement with the head turns at 1:05 HOW RUDE (actually the internal movement in this entire videos is fucking perfection and gorgeous and you're honestly one of the best editors for that) I love the tonal shift at 1:50, the heavy angst is just so perfectly shown with all the looks and the hugs where they grip onto each other for dear life. And then the parallels from 2:17 onwards holy fuck HOW YASMIN HOW DO YOU EDIT IM ON THE FLOOR I can't wait to rewatch this once I've watched the show but I'm shook without having watched it so I can imagine watching this after seeing the show will legit end me

that beginning was so compelling yasmin how even dare you do this to me??? I love everything about this and I know next to nothing about this show so, I'm only guessing I will adore this to no end when I do. Because I am definitely watching the show now. WOW. I mean, it's not like I'm surprised, every video you post is a masterpiece and true tribute to whatever you vid but this is just proof of the scope of your talent. Making people feel compelled by your editing without any knowledge of plot or characters.
