She became a cold blooded killer in series . I understand that too ! She learnt that she needs to be a favourite for ruling over everyone . And she wasn't stealing anyone's man lol , that man wasn't for anyone . She just stole his heart being a concubine. But she was attacked so many times . Ibrahim pasha knew EVERY SINGLE THING that was happening to her but stayed silent, because he was power hungry too . He wanted to have some control and he knew , he won't ever succeed in controlling Hurrem , that girl controls everything around her 😂 So yeah anything that's being shown in this series , doesn't feels right. As far I know , Mahi had to leave the main palace after she had beaten Hurrem , sultan sent her away .
