Hurricane Beryl heads for Jamaica

Hurricane Beryl was moving toward Jamaica Tuesday, still at Category 5 strength. Parts of the Caribbean saw strong winds and rough waters as the historic storm moved west.

I’m a Katrina survivor and I did not sleep last night worrying about Jamaican residents. Please take this seriously. Find strong shelter if possible, also canned food and water. I remember the calm before the storm. It’s easy to hope that everything will be okay, but it’s coming so stay safe.
