This is a devastating situation ... but please don't dramatise the hurricane season and scare people. It is hurricane season. It's nothing new. I live in St Lucia ... nothing really prepares us for these storms. It's just what happens. None of us like it... and our neighbouring islands are dear to all of us so its always a horrid situation.. The islands come together during these times, and assistance will be there to help..... Many poor and underprivileged live on these islands, too... day to day life is hard for many. The devastation just doesn't stop after the hurricane. People have to rebuild their lives and livelihoods ❤❤
