Thanks forbposting that Mike. You saved me a trip downtown. I've got enough to do at my place. No major damage. Just lots of unexpected firewood and impromptu landscaping.

All those wonderful trees gone. My son lives in Cornwall. He sent pics I could not believe the damage. Still one of the best places to visit in Canada, will be back next summer.

Thanks for watching, Steven. Yes is it a shame a have a yard full of fallen trees been working on them for days. At least we have some nice weather. Cheers! 😀

I'm from NS and was on island when it happened!!🤯 It was worst than Hurricane Juan in 2003. Love the island They will recover in time. Nature is unpredictable.

Just returned from Charlottetown and it’s so sad to see this. Walked by some of those houses and was at the pier. So sad.

Related to Fiona 2022 Tree cleaning and house repair have continued for many months, currently we continue to receive repair orders related to Fiona which are always prioritized in terms of working schedule.

The island is still very much a mess and it will take years to clean up the fallen trees. So sad! If you are in the tree business you need not worry about jobs. 😀

PEI faired out pretty well mostly tree and power damage , very little property damage and no one even got seriously hurt. Though it wont seem that way if you talk to and islander , they tend to over exaggerate the weather

All and all we are good except for a zillion trees down. Power coming back on soon hopefully. Most everyone is safe and that is the important thing. Have a great day! 😀
@JanitorMusician2 жыл бұрын
because the weather was bad, everyone was just smart enough to stay inside. nothing was "pretty well" about this... no one was seriously hurt that's good . very little property damage? every block has property damage.

@@JanitorMusician PEI made out very well compared to the storms that the Florida Keys, Florida, Texas and the southern states have had where hurricanes level complete communities. We are very fortunate in my opinion and things will get better with every day. Thanks for watching, and commenting and have a great day!

@@JanitorMusician if you think this is damage take a look at places south of us but islanders are I their own little world around here . And very little damage done concerned but as an islander you must over exaggerate
@JanitorMusician2 жыл бұрын
@@stevewilliams1260 just because other places got it worse doesn't mean we didnt get it bad that logic makes no sense. Im not saying we werent lucky because most importantly no one was hurt. I dont think myself or most islanders are over exaggerating by saying this was bad. Get a grip

WOW! That's too bad. We were 9 days. Luckily got good use out of the generator and, since then, have added a second inverter generator for cleaner power and super quiet operation - tested monthly. 😀
