This has been one of the weirdest Hurricanes I have ever seen. Those 100mph winds was in a very small pocket or the northwest eye. The rest of the storm was probably packing 80 to 90mph winds. The eye went slap over my vacation home in Grand Isle and I'm not sure what I will see when I get there next weekend. You definitely have to keep the news flying straight. They always love to feed into a story how bad it is and was.

It’s crazy to think that I was literally going through this 9 hours ago. We got some pretty good gusts and rain but not as bad as Morgan City, Houma, and Thibodaux. I work in New Orleans - worked through the storm, drove to Houma this morning and a big swath of south Louisiana- it’s not flooded outside of some low lying areas- and the damage was minimal in Nola, Morgan City, Houma, Thibadeaux took the brunt. So idk where ya getting Nola or S. LA is flooded but that is 💯 wrong

@@mathewmartinez9397 there’s numerous areas outside of those populations. I know people who had flooding all the way up here in natchitoches Parish and we only got the outskirts of the storm. Even if flooding is not bad in urban areas, there is still thousands of acres of farm land that got flooded, and suger cane farms are probably going to be impacted by the storm.
