phenomenal edit! the more i watch these, the more i marvel at hohw expertly crafted the story of Galadriel and Sauron was. Every interaction could be read either with deceit or care, the light and dark of both their souls. Maybe their meeting and bond was what changed the fate of Middle Earth, Galadriel got a taste of darkness and fortified her kin to be protected against it, and Sauron clung to a vestige of humanity she unlocked in him

There meeting was Cosmic. Oddly enough they both saved each other on that sea so they could get back home to Middle Earth to help heal it. If they had not worked to gether on that great ocean then middle earth would have died and they would be floating on the sea for forever in limbo.

I completely disagree and hate the amount of stupid comments some people leave about this show. Amazon could only achieve the prologue rights, that's it. They're doing everything they can and tbh for me is great, the CGI is better than in any of the last movies of the decade. I dare anyone to name any movie who has better visual effects than this show. ABout the video, I enjoyed it very much. I'm pleased to see more and more people are starting to make something about them. Yes, I know is not cannon but technically we can see it as if Sauron kept his promise and maintain Galadriel safe, away from death, even after she chose the other side.

Galadriel wore his ring, Sauron made a ring for her. Her ring glows in the dark so he can still see where she is at all times. When they meet, Sauron and Galadriel shine at each other , scream and then banish each other home.

Nice! This was such a well crafted story to create a prequel to the movies and the moment where Frodo offers her the ring. The thing is - this prequel makes it SO HUMAN this binding of abuser and abused. Sauron abused by Morgoth and so wounded he becomes a predator himself. He has moments when he is pulled into a redemption arc - but he’s too far gone and all she can do is save herself. Anyone one who has been in a relationship like this can see it plays out in ROP. Your edit makes it super clear. Thank you. Well done. The writing! A hurricane created by Sauron where they save each other and she literally INVITES him to bind himself to her- brilliant. An abuser creates a hurricane in his or her victims life and then makes them think they NEED the abuser. It's perfectly done and in this case LITERAL. Your choice of focusing on the first hurricane/chaos he created and where he saves her from drowning was insightful.

The moment Galadriel arises after we hear, “I will never be at your side” and shines the light of Eärendil at the Nine and Sauron ultimately casting them away…… I teared up, too. Especially since the music intensifies at this moment too. Perfection ♥️ Since reading the books, Galadriel, Sauron, Aragorn, Morgoth, Gandalf, Bilbo, Frodo, and Samwise have always been my favorite characters… So, watching tributes like these REALLY hit me deeply… I tear up very often during these tributes. I think the fact that he is Sauron is what makes it so compelling. Had he been some regular guy it wouldn't be as interesting. I mean he's offering her the power to shape the world as she deems fit. That is not an easy offer to turn down. It also makes it more understandable how and why the ring is so seductive. When power is just an abstract concept it's like, "Oh, I'd turn away from evil." But when you have Mr. Charming playing you the whole time it's like "Oh..yeah, I probably would have faltered and ended up an Evil Queen."

@@MissKashira 100% this! There's the idea that evil can disguise itself as light but also the notion of there being good in everyone. Sauron was corrupted by power after all, and he would take Galadriel down with him. In his own way he loves her I think, or at the very least, found a much needed camaraderie in their bond.
