I hope someone rescued the elderly gentleman that the SC pilot was forced to stop from a Fire Official Lake Lure. I am Very interested to know if that poor man was rescued yet. And interested to know if that official will face consequences! The pilot saved the man’s elderly wife had to go back to get son ( his Co pilot) and was told if he rescued the elderly man he would be arrested!!

My son is in Asheville. It's bad no power, water, food or cell cervice. BUT so many other towns were decimated as well across multiple states.

I've seen 3 news articles yesterday for the red cross saying they need desperately more volunteers asap with the link in it to apply to volunteer. They don't have enough help they are saying and need tons more. Still many towns that have not even been reached yet. I'm trying to see if I'm able to leave to try.
